48 hrs - Aaron Hernandez

Very interesting special airing now.

I did not know that the body of Odin Lloyd was found by a Bills fan.

I also did not know that he told Ian Rappaport that he would kill him if he ever crossed him.

While I find this informative, it increases my hate and disgust of everything Patriots***.

Hopefully,  they will begin to fall rapidly,  however,  I expect that the officiating tomorrow will ensure that the cheatriots win.  After all the NFL has already determined that the Superbowl will be Min v. NE. Per their official facebook.

Seriously considering never watching a NFL game again.

Nothing about the James Patterson special specifically,   I loathe that organization. AH was a POS.  AH was a Patriot.  Do you see the connection?

It was more about how his fiance and others continue to defend the POS that was AH. By blaming CTE , Riddel and the NFL instead of facing reality.   He is a murderer.

Did OJ commit murder?   Absolutely.

Is OJ a POS?  Absolutely.

Urban Myer knew the type of person AH was yet that was not important as he was helping him win games.

I loved the part where AH shot his buddy in the face and left him for dead but he lived.  However,  he wouldn't cooperate with police and AH was never charged.  Yet he testified against AH in the double homicide case.  After AH was convicted in the  Odin Lloyd and was already in prison.

Maybe if he had cooperated in the first place AH would not have been able to kill OL.

If you shoot me in the face and I live. Dont worry about whether I tell the police.

The Pats see your Hernandez and raise you OJ

Go Bills...F the Pats!  But I still don't hold them accountable for the internal monster Hernandez was.  Especially since we have a bigger monster that came from our house in OJ, whose murder was gruesome on a level that would make even Hernandez queasy.  Should people hate the Bills more because of OJ?  Nope.  So cant hold Hernandez abasing the Pats anymore than people should hold OJ against the Bills or Rae Carruth against the Panthers.

I don't hold them accountable for AH.  I hate the organization for reasons other than AH.

I don't hold the Bills accountable for OJs actions.

I hate that he wasn't convicted but it goes to show you just how dysfunctional our judicial system is.   I would say that it's even worse now, than when they let OJ walk.

Let me be clear.... I never said I hate the Patriots because of AH.  I hate the Patriots because of the Tuck Rule, Spygate, Deflate gate, perceived NFL collusion.

Is it a coincidence that this James Patterson special aired on the eve of another AFC championship game?  I don't know.

Do i suspect it was done to boost ratings tomorrow?   Probably.

Agreed.  Bills fans hating the Patriots may be more based on jealousy and frustration than anything else.  Become winners like them, then you may not hate them.  If Belichik wants to come to Buffalo tomorrow to coach, I'll throw out the mat.

What crimes did OJ commit while he was an active NFL player with the Bills?

Strongly disagree.

I would not want anything to do with Belicheat or Brady.

I would rather suffer another 17 yr drought before I lower myself to cheating.

I bet you wouldn't have rolled on AH either.

Just watched the piece at the link I posted above.

Fairly well done, 3 out of 5 stars.  Worth the time if you are interested in Hernandez and his story.

Thanks to the OP for posting this; I wouldn't have known it existed if I hadn't seen it here.

Crazy how the world can produce such despicable people. It's just so foreign to me.

I know poverty has something to do with some of these guys and how they  were raised, but still. I grew up in a poor home with a big family, but we all turned out alright. No murderers among us.

Thanks for the link.  What are the chances of the body of Odin Lloyd being found by a Bills fan in Mass?

I may read the book as it appears that it will be unlike anything he has done before.

Is Hernandez written on Gillette stadiums wall any where? This is just a dumb debate to even entertain.

I'm really confused why anyone finds it interesting that Lloyds body was found by a bills fan. It's almost disgusting that's what you take away from everything.

Can somebody interpret this for me? Because I don't understand it at all. I don't find the story in general interesting at all either. Aaron Hernandez was a scum bag, went through some tough times that a lot of people go through and went on to kill people for no reason at all. He's a piece of ****. It has nothing to do with the Pats, or Urban Meyer. His level of **** is unforeseeable. He killed himself, now let's remember the victims and forget about him.

You are mistaken.

I followed the AH case closely and didn't know that the body of Odin Lloyd was discovered by a Bills fan.  However,   in the 48 hrs special, a person in a Bills sweatshirt was in the opening scene.

Because I mentioned that does not mean that is what I took away from it.  I will interpret it for you.  You only read what you want to read.

What is disgusting is that you try to take a small comment and paint a big picture.

You could not have read my comments and possibly thought that is what I took away from it.   You are a moron.

You mentioned it, perhaps I assumed wrong that you found it interesting that Lloyds body was found by a bills fan.

I usually don't mention things I find uninteresting. I can see why you took it as such, but the rest of my post wasn't directed towards you specifically.

Either way, I don't care. Think what you think.

One thing I took away from the show was just how stupid Hernandez was.   I don't mean "stupid" as in he made obviously poor judgments and threw away what could have been a great life with fame and lots of money...

I mean the guy was highly unintelligent.  He clearly had a very low IQ that was probably just above being clinically labeled as "mildly retarded".  80 maybe?

That is the foundation upon which his troubles were built.  In addition, he seems to have had a screw loose where he didn't know how to deal with anger and didn't have that little voice inside his head saying "that's enough" when it came to revenge or retribution.

So on one hand he is easily influenced and hanging around with the wrong crowd, and on the other, he's a bit of a psychopath by nature.

He reminds me of a Richard "Iceman" Kuklinski type.  Watch those documentaries on HBO if you have not seen them already. Riveting viewing.

It's actually not that shocking that this "NFL star" ended up the way he did once you get to see what the guy was really like.

If he had not been born with a great physique and a huge amount of natural athletic talent, he would have just been the idiot who killed someone after a bar altercation and went to prison for life, like lots of others.

No one would have known his story, and no one would have cared.

a much different situation as OJ was long gone from the BIlls and past his football career. he was a hollywood star at that point.

Pats had him on the roster and many Pats fans as well as the franchise defended him

much much much different scenarios IMO

but to me they are both just sad stories

However seeing a bunch of Bills fans get together to take a picture with OJ recently was disturbing

Simmer down—

people have been commenting on the things you brought up- your distaste for the pats and  that a bills fan found him were the bulk of your post. If you wanted to talk about other stuff you could frame the thread differently
