Alex Smith has performed on a much more consistent basis. You know exactly what you're getting with him. He's not elite by any means, but we could win with him, he doesn't turn the ball over and he can move an offense pretty well. He'd be a nice QB to have while grooming our guy of the future. that's a good point about Keenum. We have seen one year wonders before and the league catches them in year 2.
