You are right about that...but it doesn't change that even a blind man can see the incredible talent, special arm, and abiltiy to make plays only a rare few can.  You won't read an account of the performance anywhere that is less than sparkling.  Or, don't take mine or anyone elses word for it...go watch it.  See for yourself.

Congrats.       Watson and Mahomes will both be great because the bills passed on them ?

We are used to it.

He looked great especially considering who his surrounding cast was.

Kareem Hunt had 1 run till they pulled him out to protect him.

Akeem Hunt had 4 carries before injured.

Their only running back was their FB.

Their WR core consisted of Albert Wilson, who wouldn't make most teams. Demarcus Robinson and Jehu Chesson (two practice squad players this year), De'Anthony Thomas, who is a converted RB and has been a huge bust.

Their Oline was full of backups.

TE was their backup who has notoriously bad hands.

There is officially at least 5 drops including 1 for a TD.

He made obvious 1 bad decision which was a deep pass on the game winning drive that amounts to a jump ball for his TE. I can kind of see the thought process on throwing a jump ball to the tallest player on the field, but it was unnecessary in that situation. He made one bad throw that sailed for the INT. He looked composed, confident, displayed pocket awareness and field vision. He was very accurate and made very good decisions like recognizing the blitz and getting the ball out quickly to his hot read. He was briefly taken out to get the 3rd string guy some reps, who coughed up a fumble and a 3 and out which let Denver back in the game. Mahomes came back for the game winning drive and won it.

Kid looks like a winner. Did some things that very few others if any do.
