I don’t believe he’s biased, just my opinion based on the fact he’s pumped a lot of money into the downtown area.

Downtown Buffalo is going to be difficult property wise. They would have to apply eminent domain to get the needed property to house a new stadium.

These are facts:

There are properties with ample area in Lancaster and north of Buffalo to make this work. These properties have been made public previously. The property in Niagara Falls was purchased immediately after Pegula bought the team. The property is useless as it stands but a major investment was made because the developer who purchased has an inside track to State politicians.I believe it’s Howard Millstein.

Pegula owns the team but he had a lot of help with securing his bid, through NY politicians. The state wants the stadium near Buffalo, that’s why they helped. It’s never, ever going to Batavia or that Far East of Buffalo.

Pegula has been buying up Perry street property like candy ....   Between Pegula Entertainment + the city.   They almost own the entire space between the arena and the casino.

Also.  the HSBC building in front of the arena,  is up for sale + parking lots around it.   HSBC is trying to get rid of that place.  I have heard that building is falling apart and poorly maintained.   HSBC wants to move the jobs there to the suburbs and sell.

Also, Pegula is investing in a building right in that area too for the Labbott Blue Brewery, offices, and residential.      THEN add in the hofbrauhaus  or what ever its called near the Creamery.     WHY the heck would a pretty well know german beer chain go from building on canalside (which they didnt want to pay the utilizes for) to building in the middle of no where city wise with nothing else around it?

ALL signs point to downtown.    Not Batavia.

If Pegula wants and open air stadium and Buffalo wants a dome .... simply build a retractable roof stadium for year around usage.    Bills games the roof can be open for all games with the exception of Thunderstorms and Buffalo can use the stadium year around for concerts,  motocross, high school football, college football (maybe UB), and many more events.

https://www.google.com/search?q=florida+marlins+stadium&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjP_8aKgIrYAhVLQCYKHdKtA78Q_AUICygC&biw=1366&bih=637#imgrc=W6EW6GPg02z8xM:

Marlins stadium is a good example of a retractable roof stadium that works for Buffalo.      The roof is completely off the field / stadium and you still get an outdoor feeling.    Open up both endzones with glass with some seats like cowboys stadium to get the wind factor.      BOOOOOOM  problem solved.     It can snow and be cold and yet close that stadium up for other events.

IMO, a "rift", "disagreement", or whatever you want to call it, isn't as much of an issue (happens in every workplace environment) as internal information being leaked out to the public is. I get that this is just speculation, but it's being relayed as if it is not, and if accurate, the real issue is that someone inside OBD cannot keep quiet, and that's not good for any organization, especially a sports franchise (and especially so, this franchise, that's trying to rise up from the depths of obscurity).

This is completely on target.  However, it is entertaining.  I doubt it's true, btw, but who knows for sure?

If we are going to roll the dice on a player fully recovering from injury. I want it to be a guy like Cordy. Drafted by us, played at a very high level, franchise LT. I am willing to eat the cap space, and possibly look for his replacement.

The draft pick is nice, but we are creating holes, that need to be filled with that draft pick or FA. Pay Cordy another year or so.  Move Dawkins to RT, Cordy to LT, and we are in a better spot. If it does not pan out, we are in a slightly worse position/the same place we are now with Dawkins at LT and still a need to overhaul the right side of the line.  I mean what is the real value here. Trading Cordy for a rookie RG? Depth at LB or DT?

If I trade my "starting" left tackle, even if there is some concern about longevity, I am still rolling the dice with status of my franchise.  I need more than a draft pick that will be used on depth/a guy that might be out of the league in 3 years. I need a guy that will be with my franchise for the next 3-5 years as a starter. Not super star, but starter.

Only way I trade Glenn is if I am certain Dawkins can play LT and Glenn is the added piece that gets me Rosen or Darnold.

How do you know this?  He's never been responsible for making player personnel decisions before.  There's a big difference between being an assist and being the guy in charge.  The 2 big player personnel moves that can be attributed to him in Buffalo were the Watkins and Benjamin trades, neither of which suggests he's close to being "the smartest guy in the room".  Watkins has not only stayed healthy in LA but he's repeatedly helped insure that that 2nd rounder the Bills got for him will be at the end of the 2nd round not at the beginning.  Benjamin has a history of knee problems, was hurt when the Bills traded for him, and has been hurt most of the time he's been here.

Geez, chill man.  It's my opinion based on what I've researched about him after he was hired and when I've listened to him in interviews.  Obviously I don't know this as 100% fact.  I've never met the man.    And I like Sammy, but on a very potent offense he has 34 rec. for 549 yards.  That's puts him way down the list and as you mentioned he's been relatively healthy.  For comparison, even Marquise Goodwin has 41 for 783.  It amazes me that any decent WR we have in Buffalo is constantly hurt or nursing some nagging injury.

it would have to be a very small piece.  how much value can he have.  this issue is stretching thru two seasons

If he can't get healthy, maybe he's just done as a player.  In that case, he obviously has no trade value and will just be a large cap hit going forward.

The sam Bradford thing sealed it for me as bogus.  No sane GM would be thinking of throwing more millions into the Sam Bradford garbage disposal.

And who is buying up property around a proposed stadium?  For private parking lots? Another strip mall?

As I said elsewhere, Bradford has looked like an elite starter in his last few full-game starts. His last three games:

34/50 for 382 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 110.6 rating

25/33 for 250 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 114.5 rating

27/32 for 346 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 143.0 rating

He is a good player at this point in his career. However, his knee is a scarred-over mess of spaghetti. That's the issue with him, not his talent or performance. If the knee somehow ends up being OK, he can be a high end starter. But given the history of that knee, it is simply too much of risk to invest in.

Could Tonawanda Terry get in on it?  or Amherst Al?

Tonowanda Terry is making a big name for himself after destroying Williamsville Will.  Tonowanda Terry probably gets his shot soon.

Amherst Al got popped for PED's.  He's suspended for 1 calendar year.  Look for a comeback fight with Alden Abe.

2016 qb rating was a tick under 100.   He gets 10-15 million on a one year deal by somebody.

Somebody will indeed do this hence he will more likely get a 2-3 year deal (competition for his services) . Best case for a QB-starved team is to sign Bradford and draft

a franchise QB. Rookie holds clipboard for 1-2 years.

You do know corporations are the main issuers of bonds, right?

Which NFL stadiums have been financed via issuance of corporate bonds?

not saying he is right, but businesses can sell bonds as well as the gov't

so in this case, the bond would likely be from the bills or pegula ent.
