Utah John Posted December 12, 2017 Share Posted December 12, 2017 I have to agree with those who like Tony Romo as a color announcer. He just talks without a filter, giving you his true thoughts. And he knows so much. He's like the neighbor you had over to watch a game, who won't shut up, but with Romo it's OK because he has so much good and interesting to say. The Cope-a Scope was classic locl Pittsburgh TV when I was in college in Western PA early 80's 2) I liked Mowins on college football too. I'm not sure if it was just in response to my distaste for Rex, but I thought she did a good job. I've also grown to appreciate the abilities of Suzyn Waldman who calls games for the Yankees Radio broadcast. I HATE the Yankees, but that's what's on around here, so I'll hear her work from time to time. Mowins reminds me of Waldman's competence and poise. I like Gus Johnson, who now is doing just college football. He brings do much energy to the broadcast. They need to put him back on NFL games.
