A friend told me Vegas had us at 6 wins before the season

So...ya know...Yeahhhhhhh us.

Honestly, I thought the absolute ceiling for this team was 8-8.  I figured 5-11 to 7-9 was likely and this has been a reasonably entertaining season.

Please keep it going, Bills, this weekend against what increasingly is looking like a more difficult game against the Phins.

EDIT:  Additionally, and a weird stat I need to look into, outside of the late 80s-90s playoff teams I do not believe any bills teams have put together 4 straight season of at least 7 wins or more.

I had them with 5-7 wins as well.

I had read that we have a lousy GM,  that we traded away all our talent and the vast majority of analysts and fans thought we were going to top out at 6 wins.   Yet we still have a winning record in mid December.  What's weird is that despite all this, I keep hearing that we have a very mediocre coach.   I'm confused.   I guess we have just been lucky this year.

We have got lucky this year. We are near the bottom of every offense and defensive statistic and won the majority of games due to lucky bounces or questionable calls that resulted in turnovers. Either way, KEEP HOPE ALIVE, let's make it to the playoffs

I put a couple of bucks on the over at 6.5.  Nice W Sunday.

Awesome!!! My only prop this year was the Browns to win the North:angry::lol: But in a sign that next year may make the same bet, I had a decent ticket last year on the Jags winning the AFC.

Freaking Seatle cost me hard this weekend, they were the last team I needed to win on a 5 team parlay.

Sounds like how Mia was last year.. and I'm hoping for similar results.

McD can coach.  How he's doing this with a lackluster lineup is impressive.  This team should be 3-5 wins on paper.

I like our backfield and we have a good running back - beyond that I see blah, but I see a team that sticks together.

This is just what they were given, a couple trades, one training camp to cut/keep players and one draft.  I imagine good things as McD and Beane build the team they want.

Me too, they were not a good team last year but they swept the Bills and made the playoffs. Hopefully we can return the favor

This team has already exceed the pundits and pessimistic fans expectations so whatever else they might do is a bonus at this point.

But still think 8 or 9 wins and not making the playoffs is the worst possible scenario for this team. Mostly because it will lead to false hope again next year (in which I think we are going to be markedly worse team record wise because of how young we'll be) and we once again ruin draft position and will miss out on the true blue chip franchise QB prospects.

I suppose the real question is how many wins would he have now if he hadn't traded away the majority of our name players.

I'm sure if Whaley was still the GM and we had all that talent which had been performing at such a high level with a decent HC, we'd certainly be vying for home field advantage for the playoffs.

Not criticizing the current regime, just wondering. And Sammy alone would have won us 1 more game at least.
