      Problems logging in?   11/05/2017

I know a few people are getting logged out too quickly. I don't have the answer to that yet.   However, one change that occurred is that there is no longer a log in name and a separate display name. The upgrade discarded the log in name and now uses the display name. So, to log in:   Username: <display name> Password: <your password>   If you need to contact me to find out what your display name is use: Contact Us  and we can get things sorted out.

Buffalo Bills face a must win at home Sunday against the Colts.

No gimmes for Buffalo Bills, including the 3-9 Colts

link

As it stands, the Bills have slipped to the eighth seed, behind the Los Angeles Chargers, who won the head-to-head match up with Buffalo, 54-24. For the Bills, last Sunday’s 23-3 loss to New England was compounded by Jacksonville (8-4), Baltimore (7-5), L.A. (6-6) and Oakland (6-6) all winning.

Buffalo’s remaining four opponents went 2-1 last week and are a combined 23-25. Its previous 12 opponents are a combined 74-70. The Bills have beaten one team with a winning record, the Falcons (7-5).

7 things we learned about the Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills' Week 14 opponent

Indianapolis ran with success against Jacksonville

Indianapolis racked up 141 yards on 26 carries (5.4 YPC) against the Jaguars on Sunday. Frank Gore (61 yards) and Marlon Mack (46 yards) led the way for the Colts. Buffalo allowed 191 yards on the ground to the Patriots and could face a tough test in Week 14 against the Colts.

Defense stopped Jacksonville's run game

Indianapolis may have allowed 30 points to the Jaguars, but their run defense fared well. Jacksonville was only able to run for 96 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries (3.6 YPC). Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville's lead back, only averaged 2.8 YPC on Sunday. LeSean McCoy and Travaris Cadet could have trouble picking up yards on the ground

Indianapolis Colts vs. Buffalo Bills, 12-10-2017 - Prediction & Preview

link

Trends:

The Colts are:

  • 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games.
  • 0-4 ATS in their last four Week 14 games.

The Bills are:

  • 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games vs. a team with a losing road record.

General:

  • The home team is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings.

The Bills are just one game behind the Baltimore Ravens for the last playoff spot in the AFC as they chase their first postseason appearance since claiming a wild-card spot in 1999. Buffalo, though, has been held to 13 points in its last two home games after averaging 27.8 in winning its first four at New Era Field.

Indianapolis has dropped two of the last three meetings, both in Buffalo, after winning the previous six. The Colts hold a 36-31-1 lead in the all-time rivalry between the former AFC East teams.

Pick: Bills

NFL Power Rankings:

20

Not what we expected from the Bills, whether we're talking about Tyrod Taylor's ill-advised red-zone interception or the quarterback leaving the game early with a knee injury. Unfortunately, the 191 rushing yards allowed to the Patriots are in line with the anticipated outcome of a Buffalo game, at least lately. The run defense has absolutely sucked since Marcell Dareus was traded away at the end of October. After the controversial defensive tackle broke up with Sean McDermott -- or vice versa -- the Bills have allowed 156.3 rushing yards per game. It feels like when a guy gets all full of himself after breaking up with a girl, then sees her with a better-looking dude in an Audi, smiling like a sliced watermelon.

weather

TAILGATE WEATHER: Cold, to be sure, but "we've had colder." 8 a.m. temp: near 20, with moderate wind chill. Chance of light snow showers.

GAME TEMPERATURE: 24-28.

WIND: NW: 10-15 becoming W later in the afternoon and increasing to 15-25. Impact on passing/kicking game may become more significant during the course of the game, but not unmanageable.

PRECIPITATION: Chance of occasional light snow showers on and off, but there is also at least a small chance of organized lake effect snow developing late in the game and afterward.

Hard to predict without White/Taylor updates.

If Taylor starts

13-9 Bills win

If Peterman starts

35-16 Bills win:lol:

This is what we really care about. lets go snow!!!!

PRECIPITATION: Chance of occasional light snow showers on and off, but there is also at least a small chance of organized lake effect snow developing late in the game and afterward.

Depending on who starts...

13 - 3 Colts if Taylor at QB

13-10 Colts if Peterson at QB:  Leading 10-3 with 5 minutes left to play, Colts Kick FG making it 10-6, then score a soul crushing, gut punching touchdown with less than a minute to play.

If they put a garbage can with a broom handle taped to it for an arm in at QB:  Bills 27-13.

If Taylor starts Bills win 16-0*   - Buffalo shut JB down last season in NE*  so why not.

If anyone else starts Bills win 25-0 *

* - I'm guessing 9 points by Indy either way.

wont really make much of a difference who's under center and hope they don't play conservative, wait, they'll play conservative as always and squeak out the win.

this game will be less than impressive but at least they wont be blown out at home.
