Bills vs. Chargers Postgame

The Bills' latest blowout loss has mercifully ended, and it's official: Buffalo is in free fall. At 5-5, their playoff chances are spiraling. Sean McDermott's decision to start Nathan Peterman can, should and will be questioned relentlessly this week, but his team's problems run much deeper. The Bills have allowed 135 points over their past three games and went over 113 minutes of game action without forcing a punt until the Chargers did in the third quarter Sunday. Next up are the Chiefs and Patriots. And did I mention Kelvin Benjamin (knee) and Micah Hyde (knee) both left Sunday's game with injuries?

This interview is embarrassing. McDermott is speaking as if we didn't just get destroyed for the third straight week.

"All teams go through this" - McClueless

Did Peterman look confused or not up to it?

"No." - McLiar

"I've been on the other side of these situations in my 20 year career in this business" - McEgo

Defense looks overmatched, too easy for opposing teams, why?

"...Field position early, field position early." - McAreYouSerious?

"I don't regret my decision at all [to start Nathan Peterman], he comes in to work everyday and works extremely hard, every opportunity he's had, he has handled the right way..." - McForFSake

"Our players were focused and moving the ball on offense, big picture from this football team, the game got away from us in a hurry and we need to objectively look at it" - McHuh?

He's not taking any blame for this. No blame for starting Peterman, no blame for the defense playing poorly, no blame at all on his shoulders - he scapegoated Tyrod last week, who is it next?

"We have a lot of confidence in Tyrod. [end interview]" - McFTHEFANS
