He needs fire? Like fire crotch? Maybe get his juices flowing? Lolol.

The teams a joke. I hate Dennison and Frazier. McDufus is on the fence for me. I think our roster is just crud and always will be until we get owners who don't walk around with their tail in between their legs. Bunch of morons the PEGULAS are. They tried to hire everyone from Carolina including Kelvin, Tolbert and Johnson, despite the HC and GM. You can't win by being a follower. Everyone's happy the Pegulas kept the Bills in Buffalo, I am too. That's as much praise as they'll ever get until they grow a pair and learn to be a real owner

This board is total entertainment when the Bills lose.  Fire McD?  The same guy everyone was in love with after Oakland?  What a joke.

McD saw that his QB wasn't performing at a level he was comfortable with (and despite his statements other coaches and players concurred) so he took a calculated risk to see if a QB whose talents fit into his OC's offense could do better.  Obviously it didn't work.

I still admire the move because he took a risk.  See, in life when you want to be great you have to take risks. Compared to Chan Galley, who despite a string of 10 losses wouldn't bench Fitzaverage, and rode his QB into the ground which cost him his job.

Sure, he could have stuck with Tyrod.  But in his mind the way TT was playing would have made the team average at best.  McD isn't about being average.   That's called striving for greatness. So he went for it. I applaud that.

We learned a number of things today....

First off, Peterman isn't ready.  I don't see the Bills changing him as TT's main back up unless they start making a run, which vs. KC and NE I don't foresee happening.  If TT was hurt tomorrow they would sign a FA off the street that could start more than back up Peterman.

Secondly, TT learned today that he needs to throw the ball down the field and take risks.  He threw way more times down the field than vs. NO.  McD sent him a message and he understood it loud and clear.  Moving forward, I hope TT uses that lesson.

Third, the Bills franchise QB of the future is not on this roster.  Unless TT can turn this season around and lead the team to the playoffs (which I doubt) our future QB will be acquired this fall.  Whether it's via free agency or the draft.  Bottom line is TT is not the best fit for Dennison's offense.  That's why the move was made.  You can call for Dennison's head, but you need to have guys that play to the O's strength, and TT doesn't do that.  It's not Dennison's fault TT can't anticipate throws and stretch the field.

Fourth, our defense has gotten scorched for 135 points in 3 games, including giving up another 148 yards on the ground.  Bottom line is our defense is not good.  Whatever they were smoking through the first handful of games has worn off.  Lots of changes coming this off season.

McD is trying different things to spark this team.  I admire the fact that he isn't worry about the narrative of his moves or how things appear to emotional fans who react to every little thing.  He is acting with the teams best intentions in mind with the players he has been given.

Once we get a franchise QB, this will be a different team.  We all know that.  Once that happens, we'll be estatic to have a well prepared and well disciplined coach like McD leading our team.

Until then there is no way I'm putting any blame on McD for this season.  He has shown through a number of ways that he is the right guy for this job that will show once this team has talent at key positions.
