The Bennett trade (made on 10/31/87) was a key piece that put the Bills on the Super Bowl path, and symbolized (in retrospect) that they were ready to contend and were going for it. While not as big a trade, will we some day look back and talk about the similarities? Let's hope so. These guys not only have a plan but a vision of what they want the team and organization to look like and they are executing. While we cannot expect Benjamin to have a first game like Bennett did, maybe they get him on the field for 10-15 plays and he helps beat the Jets.
