I believe last year was the only year they had a top 10 defence under him. And the pats won the superbowl because tom brady came back from a 28-3 deficit. If he hits one or two of those FG attemtps, the Pats would have had a completely different end-game strategy. But it certainly didn't help. Last night Tampa didn't play their 2 best linebackers Lavante David and Kwon Alexander, or either of thier starting safties Tandy and Ward. Tampa going into last night had 1 sack on the year. Faced Chicago, Keenum Vikings, and the Giants who cant block anyone. They got to Brady 3 times. By the kicker missing those feild goals they abandoned the run. Doug Martin was 13 for 74 and holes were massive. Not really fair to say he lost the game. If he hits one or two of those FG attemtps, the Pats would have had a completely different end-game strategy. But it certainly didn't help. After the onside kick NE ran on first down, then went 4 and 5 wide and passed it on 2 and 3rd. Ne would have done that in any situation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
