PFF has Bills oline among best pass blocking in league

Recommended Posts

sounds like good scheming to me

O-Line play is always about scheming to a greater extent than almost any other unit on the field because it is imperative that the line works as a unit. I feel like the pass block scheming has been better and the run block scheming has been worse. Worried about John Miller. I have been a fan of his right back to his rookier year where I thought he played better than his PFF grade or the general narrative. He is really struggling in this scheme. I think he really struggles with the agility needed to move laterally on those stretch runs and it is noticeable that when the Bills have mixed in the odd dose of a more north to south blocking scheme Miller has looked much more comfortable. But the stretch zone is a staple of their offense and we have a guard (and a center actually) really struggling to execute it.
