BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) Makes me make sure my heart is still alive- If you ever come across an album called 'The Bridge- a tribute to Neil Young' ... something like that - there's some really nice covers, and this one definitely one-ups the original. ) Edited March 30 by BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Quote
US Egg Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) This the wigglin’ lawdy mama that lit Rick Derringer’s fuse he sung about in “R’n’R Hoochie Koo”? (…..he’s the lead singer in the video) Edited March 31 by US Egg 1 Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted April 2 Posted April 2 i remember exactly wher I was at the first time I heard this song: Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Playing basketball, I was maybe 10 and this girl Kim came wandering over with a boom-box playing Lucky Star... not my gig at the time... or probably ever, but it was definitely something different in the face of Boston and Eagles reruns the older crowd played from dusk till dusk. Even those guys stopped down and knew something different was happening with music right there... at least for a moment. I moved on and figured out some other stuff... tried to forget (most of) the 80's existed, but it rears its mangled head from time to time 1 Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I know I've heard an absolutely incredible live Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band song - a DJ played it on the radio while I was driving through somewhere once upon a time. .. but I've never been able to find it since, so if anyone knows some hidden Bob Seger treasure- and it was seriously bad-ass, please share. This one's not bad: Quote
