I've become a HUGE Swiftie in the past calendar year. And this is coming from a guy whose all time favorites are the Grateful Dead, the Beatles, Dylan, and Pearl Jam. What can I say? This lady writes clever, singular, brilliant, beautiful music. This collaboration with Bon Iver is dope. Made all the more impactful in that it was recorded at the height of the pandemic, and the musicians couldn't be in the same room together. BUMP. I was scrolling back and totally missed this. Bon Iver and Taylor Swift. This IS beautiful. 🥀 1 Quote

StarlessAndBibleBills Posted March 13 Posted March 13 For a guitar virtuoso nerd (namely...me), this is manna from the Heavens. Both guitarists are playing May 12th at Kleinhan's Music Hall. I love that venue and the acoustics in that place are perfect. Opening band, Animals As Leaders, are also phenomenal. 1 Quote

BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I've got a beautiful album version of this... but I think it edits out a pause here or there. This is good stuff, Maynard: Ray Manzarek is a ***** God Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I've thrown this out there a couple times before, but it's just one of my favorite moments in music Quote

BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 16 Posted March 16 and named Roy, so that's familiar... at least Been seeing some footage of planes and aircraft carriers getting blown up lately- looks legit, but it's not I am an insufferable pain in the ass, you'll know me by that, and I don't want to lose you folks- please keep the decent music flowing. ) Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 16 Posted March 16 This band can go and ***** themselves: U2 has systematically suppressed any Irish bands from challenging their 'greatness'. What they've done, as a ***** institution unto themselves, is make deals with other Irish bands, then bury their music into a place of oblivion so no one can compete with them- historically. Bono can rot in hell. And in other news 1 Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I think Josh Allen's chick was in a film that featured this- 1 Quote
