Something a bit different

And two future Hall of fame musicians that are still a bit under the radar in mainstream circles.

GREAT stuff, Bull.

Here's three degrees of Grisman. Wasserman is just incredible.

The classic Quartet:

The classic Quintet. Side note, I slipped some mushrooms to Anger and Marshall (violinist and second mandolin) at the Tralf between sets back in the 80s:

And something quite a bit newer:

Truly incredible stuff. Thanks Dean. I'm actually trying to learn Tony Rice's clawhammer guitar style now.

The quality of that OneMic recording series is incredible. Do you happen to know if that's on a bluray or some other uncompressed source? I'd like to add that to my test tracks for my hifi setup.

I really don't know anything about it. I was just going to post the two Grisman tunes and fell into that. I plan to check it out this week. Tony Rice is just awesome, IMO.

buddy of mine saw this set at Blue Fox with Tommy Emmanuel.....

He was supposed to play Austin City Limits with Jason Isbell (another fav of mine) in August before covid. I'm super bummed about it.

Love Tommy Emmanuel too.

An oldie but a goodie,

The  first concert I ever attended. Kleinhan's music hall.

"Because" would have done McCartney proud.

I always loved this one:
