Let's get ready... 2017 BOLD predictions

Recommended Posts

1: Buffalo will finish with a 7-9 record with a couple of very narrow loses.

2: The defense will be very stout against the run but will struggle a bit against the pass ending up with a over rank of around 12

3: Tyrod Taylor will be solid for the first part of the season before getting an injury around week 5 or 6. Jones will take over but will be ineffective much like EJ. Peterman will take the reigns and be very, very solid, but will turn the job back to Tyrod before the year is out ( around week 13 ). Tyrod will finish strong setting up a huge debate in the offseason of who to go with... Peterman or Taylor. Jones will be cut.

4. The team will be extremely disciplined and one of the least penalized teams in the league.

5. Shady will win the rushing title this year

6. Sammy will be really turn it up when Peterman takes over ( after starting very slowly ) but will continue being solid, but not as spectacular once Taylor takes back over. This will set up another massive decision in the offseason.

7. Reggie Ragland will become a defensive monster and Shaq Lawson wont be far behind him. Both will become huge for the Bills.

Other

DeShaun Watson carries Houston to the brink of the Super Bowl.

Hows that?

Jones won't survive training camp. Peterman has to get past T.J. Yates. Other than that, not bad at all

Buffalo Bills: LeSean McCoy leads the NFL in rushing.

For whatever reason, not too many folks realize how effective McCoy was last season. Despite missing almost two full games, the uber confident tailback backed up his football bravado with 1,267 yards, 14 total touchdowns and a sterling 5.41 yards per carry, which was third in the NFL. He also caught 50 balls. Funny, nobody ever thinks of McCoy as much of a receiver. McCoy seems to fly under the radar amid the widespread fascination with David Johnson, Ezekiel Elliott and Le'Veon Bell, but he should absolutely be mentioned in their company among the league's elite. The Bills led the NFL in rushing last year. Tyrod Taylor's running ability demands opposing defenses to play 11-on-11. The run-first philosophy in Buffalo shouldn't change much under new Sean McDermott. Thus, fans might tap the brakes before anointing DJ, Zeke, and Lev Bell the rushing champs.

2. New England loses in the divisional round of the playoffs

3. Agree - both Marvin Lewis and Mike McCarthy lose their jobs

4. Andrew Luck continues to regress - win total and INT's worse than 2016

5. Mike Glennon is replaced by week *, but John Fox still gets fired

6. Jason Whiten retires

7. Brandin Cooks has less catches and yards than 2016

8. Rex Ryan is fired or reassigned by Thanksgiving

9. Arizona does not bounce back

10. Championship games - Carolina v. Seattle; Oakland v. Pittsburgh

Pretty good batting about .800

Sammy Watkins has a huge year

Ragland and Lawson both end up looking like Excellent Picks

by mid season Tre White passes Darby as the number 1 corner on the team

One of the vet guys nobody is really looking at ends up being a solid WR for us......like maybe Phili

Jonathan WIlliams makes us forget about Mike G.

I think you won some sort of award.
