Just what you want from an investigation in to the politicization of the FBI and Justice Department.

He can plead the 5th all he wants.  They have all the evidence they need to crush him like a bug.  His best hope is to cut a massive deal and roll over on those above him in order to lessen the charges against him.

I'm sure Strzok has already consulted legal counsel for his upcoming testimony.  But I wonder if he has consulted a cardiologist for that unexpected heart attack

Like Tasker said, he has no obligation to incriminate himself, and Congress itself can't do anything but recommend indictments. It would still be up to the DOJ/Sessions/Huber to bring formal charges however.

They're coming. Just likely not until after the FISA report drops. Remember how intertwined the MYE report and the FISA/Russia investigation reports are. They've spent almost two years readying the evidence and laying the tracks for this plan... but the big swings will be timed for maximum political impact re: the midterms (imo).

Min not trying to be a moron or disrespectful by asking this, but......,.....:

Why even have him come before Congressif they already have him by the cashews?

Can they do anything to Strzok if he gives them nothing or if he pleads the 5th the entire time?

Peter "Gimmie a" Strzok was the lead investigator in both the Hillary email scandal and the Trump Russian Collusion Delusion This is all America needs to know about this dirtbag.

I wish Congress could hang this anti-American prick by his balls.

More than likely he will be a co winner of the nobel peace prize with maxine waters.

Getting him on record is key to future prosecution. He also may lead them to proof on others.

Questions are always good, don't worry there.

Not everyone is in on the full scope of this plan (meaning Huber's scope/assignment). Goodlatte/Nunes seem to be, Jordan, Gowdy, and some of the more vocal Freedom Caucusers don't seem to be. Those who aren't in on the full scope are pushing for it for the reason 3rd stated above.

No surprise. He was being advised by FBI lawyers, not his own, not to answer many questions.

Walk that through... he's in deep shite, and so are a lot of other big names. The DOJ can't talk about ongoing cases, even behind closed doors with Congressmen (especially when some of those ongoing cases are about some of those very same congressmen).

Huber's been submitting sealed indictments for months now.
