Exiled, if your investment funds were stolen by a broker you would have recourse to trace and recover your loss. I have accomplished this for many cases in my work. If your Bitcoins disappeared that would be all she wrote.

An excellent feature that Bitcoin has introduced is blockchain transaction databases which can be used for other systems.

the blockchain is the real brilliance behind bitcoin. you are going to see it pop up all over with many uses. banks have even started to implement the technology.

Bitcoins is for buying drugs, weapons, hacking payments, assassination payments, hitmen get paid in bitcoins.

And porn games, see ads all the time for them.

I got a very annoying popup which locked up my browser.

It was for an issue that "Windows Defender" did not protect from (It is disabled on my systems) and that for payment I could have a technician fix my computer.

I just hard killed browser, deleted cookies and other crap and restarted browser to fix.

Foxx, universities and other entities are using blockchain for hiring recommendations.

row, you know what i would like to see the blockchain implemented upon? our voting system. make it completely transparent so anyone could see the vote. it'll never happen though, due to the fact that if voting really allowed a change of any sort, it would be outlawed.

bitcoin is the way of the future. it will be all digital soon enough, possibly even in my time although it better get here before the next 15 or 20 or I may not see it.

banks are the ones in favor of eliminating cash. I also read somewhere that the $100 bill will be phased out soon and others will follow until all paper is gone and nothing but digital will remain.

the one you don't want to see is the fedcoin. I have seen some things about that I don't really like. they will be able to track every transaction...

edit: at this point I don't use it. but I do not use cash much anymore. the little chip on my debit card serves well for me now so really, I don't think I would miss cash. but my thought would be, what if the systems completely crash, no recovery? it would seem unlike the cash under your mattress, losing that data, you might be **** out of luck?

That's exactly what we're going to see. I agree we're going digital, but governments aren't going to just happily step aside and let bitcoin or whoever take over the global money supply.

  • 4 weeks later...

one of my mining rigs

DSC00395_zpssypfh8uc.jpg

three of them all nestled in their sterile environment
DSC00403_zpszzpthmqh.jpg

these three bugs in a rug heated my entire home all winter. i did not have to turn the furnace on once. it was so warm in fact that we had to regulate the temperature by opening windows. not bad earning money just for plugging them in and getting additional pocket money by not having to fork out for natural gas.

win-win

:)
