But it is a fascinating little world you're living in.

Considering the hour that all three entries were posted, the unusually overt hostility in calling fellow posters out, and total lack of emojis, I had just assumed it to be a case of drunk-posting.

I'm not looking for trouble, but I reported it to the internet police. They are going to beat around some e-bushes and kick some

e-tires to see what they can come up with.  They seemed particularly e-interested in the fact that he was taking the time to record the height of some of the guys who's a$$es he has kicked. They said that's unusual, even for the internet.

Sounds just like what Trump would say:

Quote

Kremlin officials on Tuesday called the investigation into possible collusion between Russia's government and President Trump's campaign pointless, comparing the probe to “passing water through a sieve.”

In a statement to reporters, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added that there was “hope” that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation would conclude soon and “one day” proclaim both Russia and the Trump administration's innocence, according to Reuters.

Alexander Downer Describes Barroom Meeting With Trump Adviser George Papadopoulos

http://dailycaller.com/2018/05/27/downer-papadopoulos-trump/

This is the alleged "start" of the investigation, what kicked everything off... yet the story keeps changing about what was said during this meeting. Why could that be?

Look who else has changed their tune:

This is what I tried to warn many about in the early pages of this thread. When you attach your entire narrative to the backs of known liars and perjurers who have histories of working against the best interests of this country, you're going to end up disappointed. Clapper, Brennan, Morrel, Hayden - same group that brought us WMD, Iraq 2, CIA torture, Congressional spying (to hide said torture)... but they're trustworthy on this issue.

KNOW YOUR ENEMIES. They're not even bothering to hide.

(Note, that date is two days before Crossfire Hurricane was opened, and a full two months into Clapper's and Brennan's (and others) efforts to create probable cause about Russian collusion within the Trump campaign.

So, is he lying now? Was he lying then? Or is he incompetent and was kept out of the loop of a sensitive counterintelligence operation (which would be shocking considering his title as DNI)?

She was never supposed to lose.

Has Downer, or anybody else for that matter, stated what he told this seemingly insignificant low level campaign aide Popadopoulos was the reason he wanted to meet?  Seems extremely strange that a guy that high up would go out of his way to get this meeting unless there was something up.  Am still curious what the cover story for this was.  (Maybe just missed it in all the other storylines.)

Nope. Nothing consistent. It was first reported as if they were just two ships passing in the night. Then, when the strings behind the operation began to be exposed the story shifted - yet never redefined - how the meeting happened.

We know Halper paid to meet both G-Pap and Page. It wouldn't shock me to learn Downer did as well.

Good video included in the link - Hemingway lays it out:

Well, that's the thing.  Originally, they were just coincidentally at the bar and Popadopoulos was bragging about how he knew the Rusdians had dirt on Clinton & twas a great thing for the free world that Downer serendipitously choose this watering hole to whet his whistle.

Now, Downer allegedly asked for the meeting.  It doesn't seem to add up.  Would really like to know what he claims was the reason for wanting to meet this "nobody."

Don't forget, they also sent one - if not two - "attractive women" into G-Pap's orbit to chat him up before Downer and Halper. There's evidence, not mere speculation, that this was an active operation to entrap/dirty up several campaign members. It's not a coincidence that these campaign members are now being described as "people with extensive Russian contacts and were the target of the investigation, not the campaign". That's how the laundering of this operation worked.

They either inserted plants into the campaign with Russian ties, or inserted useful idiots who they then tried to entrap with Russian nonsense, all to justify the investigation - which was really just an attempt to cover up their previous illegal surveillance abuses inside NSD/CID for years.

We are still in the early phases of the evidence being made public as well. This is only going to get worse for 44's administration and those clinging to the Russian collusion delusion. The FISA abuse OIG isn't going to be the first report dropped - but it'll be the one with the most punch.

Switching gears slightly, this really makes one wonder just what dirt the contractors found through the 702 abuse on Sanders.  He flat out had to have known Clinton was vulnerable on the deleted e-mails but he was adament during debates that the subject was a non-issue.  There must be a lot more dirt there than just his wife's college oopsie.

This crud is fascinating.  Really hope the 1st book you put out is the non-fictionalized one.  Like they say "you can't make this s### up."

This source is hit or miss - but this article is on topic and covers a lot of what we have been discussing:

https://spectator.org/the-london-to-langley-spy-ring/

So, for those keeping score at home, we know (with evidence) one campaign actively colluded with the White House, CIA, State Department, FBI to pay a foreign intelligence operative to collect oppo research by using/paying for access to Russian Intelligence sources in order to sway the election in their favor.

Yet all the posters in the first few dozen pages of this thread who were pulling their hair out screaming to the heavens about the evils of colluding with foreign intelligence assets are suddenly... silent. Why? Were is the outrage for collusion with Russian and British intelligence services in order to tip an election? Or does your outrage stop at your partisanship?

Ya'll's silence speaks volumes.

What was the batting order, again?

Nunes/Grassley/Horowitz - Horowitz has been at the plate for the past 13 days (since it was announced the first OIG report is in the final review phase).

That odd feeling going around in the media this (short) week is a race to push puff pieces and filler while everyone readies for the release of the first OIG report. If the time table they stuck to with the McCabe report holds true, it'll be dropping Wed/Thur.
