I've seen this before.

You haven't though (unless you're older than I think and lived through the CIA backed revolt). Last time there was this level of uprising, the US President backed the Mullahs, not the people.

Because he wanted a nuclear deal that would do nothing to prevent Iran from getting a bomb.

Trump just said Mexico has 21K troops at the border (he didn't clarify which border, north or south, or if they are split) during his rally in North Carolina.

I wonder if Mexico is paying for that human wall?

Argentina brands Hezbollah terrorist organization, freezes assets

Argentinian authorities designated Hezbollah, which it blames for two attacks on its soil, a terrorist organization on Thursday and ordered the freezing of the Lebanese Islamist group’s assets in the country.

The announcement coincided with a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as Argentina marks the 25th anniversary of the deadly bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires in which 85 people died. Argentina blames Iran and Hezbollah for the attack. Both deny any responsibility.

This is a bigger deal than the media will let you believe. Hezbollah has carved out spheres of influence in South America, primarily in Honduras (post the Clinton backed coup) and Argentina (which... is interesting). This was allowed to happen under the last administration's watch because they didn't want to risk pissing off the Mullahs and their deal.

If Trump's administration wants to shut down the trafficking pipelines of drugs and humans into this country, getting Argentina and Honduras to step up is fundamental. Honduras will have a harder time of it as Argentina is more stable at the governmental level.

Did we shoot it down or did the rubber band just snap?

Sounds like the rubber band snapped after it was microwaved.

Actually, an electronic kill is kind-of impressive.  Could just be a jammed control channel...but modern ECM systems can spike a platform and fry the onboard electronics.

It's not even fully operational yet, not until October.  The program is on-time, and under-budget.

And the radar straps to the Marine JLTV.  The jammer itself is a backpack system.

We only hear about DoD acquisitions when they go wrong.  But programs like this...when acquisitions goes right, it goes really right.
