I said that this would happen years ago when the renaming/statue removal debate began.

The goal is to implement Marxist social structures.  In order to to do this they must tear down everything which came before.

You absolutely did, as did a few of us. It's been evident from the start, yet those that have denied it this whole time continue to do so, while mocking us for voicing our concern at every opportunity.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Change All the Names, Nuke All the Statues—Grievance Wusses Will Still Be Whining.

“Back in the Occupy days, I kept saying and writing that the rage was the endgame for them. It’s basically the same now.

They keep saying they want change, and I don’t doubt that they would like to affect some political change here and there but that won’t make them any less angry. There is nothing that will make them less angry simply because angry is what they want to be.”

Statue of Jesus Decapitated at Catholic Church in Florida, Archbishop Requests It Be Investigated As Hate Crime

by Cassandra Fairbanks

Original Article

A statue of Jesus Christ has been decapitated at a Florida church, as a wave of vandalism and arson at churches continues across the nation. Archbishop Thomas Wenski is requesting that the vandalism be investigated as a hate crime. The statue at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Southwest Miami-Dade was found vandalized and knocked from its pedestal on July 15. “This incident has saddened the parish community,” Good Shepherd said in a statement. “It is too soon to arrive to any conclusion, but we have seen other churches vandalized around the country. We totally ‘condemn’ this action. We invite our community to pray for peace.”

I WAS TOLD THIS WAS ABOUT CONFEDERATE GENERALS:

WARFARE IN GRANT PARK

Last night Communist and Anarchist rioters attacked the statue of Christopher Columbus in Grant Park, Chicago. Police tried to guard the statue, and a pitched battle ensued, with 18 police officers injured and a dozen rioters–nowhere near enough–arrested. The rioters gained temporary ascendancy over the police, got control over the statue and attempted to pull it down, but without success–unlike the vandals who tore down the statue of Columbus on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol.

You can read about it here. These are some very short videos that depict the melee:

Confederate Monuments: The Problem With Politically Correct History

History is complicated. And history requires perspective and understanding, something sadly lacking in those who seek to erase history by imposing today's standards of right and wrong.

"Federal lands"...........................as in BATTLEFIELDS

Confederate statues targeted for removal in series of House bills

Three bills to identify and remove Confederate monuments on federal land, including a privately funded statue of Robert E. Lee in Maryland, will get a hearing from a House Natural Resources subcommittee on Tuesday.

Rep. Anthony G. Brown, D-Md., is scheduled to speak on his bill to remove the Lee statue, which sits on the Antietam National Battlefield and has been vandalized with graffiti in support of the Black Lives Matter movement twice this summer. The battlefield is in the district of Rep. David Trone, D-Md., who, along with Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., is a co-sponsor of the legislation.

Remember the initial argument ?

We should get rid of those statues honoring traitors in the middle of our cities.

Well, we are now moving towards the land where many Americans fell.

UNEXPECTEDLY: Mayor Lori Lightfoot planning to remove Christopher Columbus statue from Chicago’s Grant Park.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot is planning to remove the controversial statue of Christopher Columbus from Chicago’s Grant Park as soon as Thursday night, in part to avoid another high-profile confrontation between police and protesters like the one that happened last week, sources told the Tribune.

As I asked on Sunday, “I wonder how long it will be before Mayor Lightfoot orders the statue crated and then removed under the onus of ‘public safety concerns,’ the language used by Philadelphia’s mayor to remove his town’s Columbus statue in June.”

The answer is: not very long at all.
