That Miami Defense is fun to watch…

Bain, Mesidor and co on the DL, with ferocious LB’s and dudes in the Secondary.

Keointe Scott is a potential Top 100 player and regarded as the best Slot Corner in the Draft - Wonder if he’d be on our radar.

Closed it out with the running game, with their OL that leaned on OSU all game.

Miami is a juggernaut if Beck can manage the game like that moving forward in the Playoff.

On to Nashville Rocking Eve

i knew they would lose as soon as I saw they were playing NYE instead of New Year’s Day. I have vivid memory of 2016 31-0 loss to Clemson on NYE and we were at a party and had to watch all the ball drop stuff after.

Georgia was NYE too!  12/31 games are a confirmed new hex.

No urgency last night, waste of an epic defense.  If Ohio State didn’t win the natty last year I’d be more upset.

Same. It was disappointing but I wasn’t devastated or anything. More annoyed.

“Portal combat” has ruined my will to live. I can’t take it anymore. Wake me up in August and show me the team.

I think that recruiting means less than the portal these days. Teams develop players, only to see them leave for more money.

It is frustrating but this is what we have.

I think it's a mix.. most of the schools still have to recruit good at the high school level

But when you have 10 or 12 or 18 kids transfer after the season.. you are probably better off replacing those guys with experienced players from the portal you don't have to rely on freshman or red shirt freshman

It is a mix, but the portal is growng rapidly in importance.

I’m irrationally angry about this. 4 players projected to be drafted in the top 12, an ELITE Defense that held IU to 13 and we can’t make a freaking kick

I expect that we'll look back on this team along with '15, '19 and '22 as massive missed opportunities.
