SINCE IT’S BLACK HISTORY MONTH, here’s my interview with Prof. Nicholas Johnson of Fordham University Law School,

about his book Negroes and the Gun: The Black History of Arms.

by Glenn Reynolds

Gun control is just another in a long line of policies leftists love that has roots in racism.

Shocking, I know.

Since it happened at the shooters workplace I’m betting it’s a white guy. Cause of the employed thing.

16 shot in Aurora by Gary Martin.

He couldn’t legally have purchased a gun because he was convicted of felony aggravated assault in 1994.

Existing gun laws make it illegal in every state for a felon to buy a gun.

He was a disgruntled ex-employee, he used a handgun & he is dead.

and you were wrong dude..............He was Black

So, that story is over.

Pass a law to make it illegal to ignore gun laws.

That will never work without a massive expenditure for signs telling everyone that guns are prohibited to be carried by people not allowed to carry them. No one ignores signs!

A gun was purchased legally but permit was later revoked.  Shooter went to work that day likely expecting to be fired and brought gun to work.  One victim was 21 year old intern, his first day on job.

Now only if that 21 year old intern was being paid for being unwilling to work, he would still be alive. Ergo, his death is the GOP's fault, and proves conclusively that the "Green dream or whatever" saves lives!

I do question an HR manager that brings an intern into a termination meeting.  Sure the newbies need to learn and gain experience but IMO you don't have somebody in the room who isn't somehow engaged in that act.  You want a witness in the room - fine but have it be the person's supervisor or another relevant individual and nobody else.
