  1. Classic tyrod going deeper than he had to on third and fourth down
  2. Not sure if anyone read Skurski's piece in the BN on Sirianni but it explains that reaction very well "You think about being in that moment of the Super Bowl, listening to the national anthem, how much that's going to mean,” he said. “It makes you think about all the hard work that you had to go through to get to the moment that you're in right now. It will be a good feeling. I'm not going to let myself get wrapped up in that feeling, because right after that, we're going to have a job to do. But I will let myself enjoy that moment for a second and enjoy that feeling, because there was a lot of hard work by a lot of people. Everyone is going to feel this way. There are a lot of people who helped me get to this spot that I'm in right now. It will be cool to listen to it and get to work.” https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/southwestern-graduate-eagles-coach-nick-sirianni-looks-to-add-to-his-familys-legacy-with-a/article_6c1fa9da-aa38-11ed-9dd3-0b9a7ebda449.html
  3. For me the total failure on Sunday almost dulled the pain of 13 seconds in retrospect. We'll never know, but who's to say if we hung on in that game last year's AFCCG at home wouldn't have looked...a little like what we just saw? I would like to think not, but this is the first time we've really played this version of the Bengals. Maybe they are a uniquely terrible matchup for us. But man did 13 seconds suck.
  4. Bears GM Ryan Poles was hired from the Chiefs organization last offseason
  5. If I have to hear Mark Sanchez use the word "Cheetah" one more time I might commit a crime
  6. Does anybody win a challenge in the age of the "eye in the sky" ref?
  7. The worst part is I think we all know McK's unreliability will hurt us in a key situation down the road
  8. Late in the Super Bowl XXVII pre-game show, OJ Simpson exclaims, "There's a God in heaven and He loves the Bills!" Anyway just thinking about that again for no reason (For reference: https://youtu.be/m6sK6wGLQGE?t=8049)
  9. Agree with OP. There are flaws but it's important to take the long view. The silver lining for those so inclined is our Super Bowl odds went on sale a little with this loss
  10. This guy has now been traded three times in five seasons. To Miami in '18, to Dallas in '19, and today. Pretty wild in a league where no one gets traded
  11. Apparently he was, even if he didn't say so publicly. From Tim Graham's article last month: “John Madden was fixated by Josh Allen,” said Los Angeles Times reporter Sam Farmer, who communicated regularly with Madden until the football icon’s December death. In texts, Madden referred to Allen as “an animal,” “a beast” and “worth the price of admission.” https://theathletic.com/3546121/2022/09/01/josh-allen-bills/
  12. I have a vivid memory of being at that game, sitting near a kid in an Ochocinco jersey. Some guy, seemingly oblivious to what was happening on the field, started relentlessly screaming “OCHO STINKO” at the kid as the cart came out for Chad. Everyone else around us was aghast. Man the drought was something else
  13. While we’re at it Pat Mahomes should also retire to spend more time with his family. They seem great
  14. I don’t think so. I agree. Don’t want them to take the next step before we do. I guess it’s nice that they want us to jump on the bandwagon but I, for one, will be staying off
  15. Had the same emotional reaction at 13 seconds, the feeling of relief that this team is different, this is really the year, we’re gonna do it Which of course made what came next all that much worse
