  1. Marrone changed the culture at OBD. Period. End of story. I've read enough on this board to know that the posters who want to argue the credit belongs to anyone else (an acknowledgement, btw, that the culture has changed) just don't like Marrone. I'm not saying you have to like the guy. But the buck stops at him. If you're going to fault him for the team's failures, then you credit him with the team's success. This is normally the part of our show where someone tries to argue that Marrone is some kind of offensive guru. So, here comes that.
  2. I'm quite curious what makes the Chicago and/or Minnesota wins "lucky."
  3. Um, no. Greg Robinson, the second overall pick, a so called once in a lifetime prospect didn't get his first start until November.
  4. I think you're remembering the first four games awfully fondly.
  5. You didn't watch the vines that WayneCubed posted. Did you?
  6. We're not talking about playcalling. The playcalling on the plays in question is very, very clear. Orton missed WIDE OPEN receivers, period. The question is how him missing those receivers falls on the coaching staff when he's the one with the ball in his hands.
  7. Our big scary bully coaches, evidently.
  8. Exactly right. And why do you suppose that is? Because he's an aggressive, competitive individual with drive and determination. That's how he became one of the best quarterbacks on the planet to begin with. Now, do you seriously think a person with that kind of pride and dignity WON'T (read; not 'can't') hit a receiver because he's been "neutered" by an offensive coach who's only three years older than him? You honestly can envision this reality?
  9. Answer with one word, yes or no: If you were to ask Kyle Orton whether or not the coaches have coached him into timidity, do you think he'd say yes? Also this.
  10. I thought Garopolo went to the same school as Romo
  11. Yikes, also had Gray WIDE open Sammy miss. That's Hackett's fault. Needs to find a way to design plays Orton can make. Orton's been neutered. Too afraid to throw to wide open receivers.
  12. That'd be tough to do.
  13. Honestly, the guy has never really had to deal with that level of adversity. Ever. That was his worst start as a pro, and it wasn't even close.
  14. Yes they do. In fact it's happened quite frequently in recent years and with OLine picks much MUCH higher than Kujo. I'm beginning to think you don't follow much of anything outside the Bills. Well, yeah. Except tackle, and not guard was pinned as much higher need for the Bills last April.
  15. TJ Graham's catch radius was the size of a nickle. Have we all just chosen to forget this?
  16. Mmmmm, pretty sure Goodwin never returned punts in the first place.
  17. I'll just leave this here:
  18. How do you think Goodwin would look with Big Ben throwing him the ball? Actually that gives me an idea: trade him!
  19. I agree with another poster that "busts" can't come out of the first round, and I'd even be willing to extend "bust" to the second round, but not the third round, particularly when a team isn't reliant upon that player's or that player's position contributing. In the case of the 2013 draft, we drafted Robert Woods a round prior, making the Goodwin pick some what of a luxury pick. Now, if we're holding the FO to a standard that suggests the draft is anything BUT a crap shoot, then we're being unreasonable. If we're saying teams shouldn't duplicate a position for "luxury" purposes, we must first consider hindsight when calling it "luxury" then also consider the Kyle Williams/John McCargo and Henderson/Kujo pairings. I did, however, find this interesting: http://goo.gl/8cTzHJ I didn't realize Antonio Brown was a sixth rounder. That tells you everything you need to know about the NFL draft. **** IS RANDOM
  20. According to what? Do you have comparison stats to show that his production is the equivalent to what late round picks, and not third round picks achieve?
