If the top 8 spots are taken by 3 OT's, 2 DT's, 2 QB's, 1 LB it would be very hard to pass on Bryant.

Probably better than the current version (and I agree any system implemented should be done full bore, not different rules for playoffs vs regular season) but still leaves holes open for 'unfairness'. I honestly think the best solution is a timed period of play and let the clock be a factor.

Getting rid of the excess/underachievers/odd men out due to system changes at this point is a good sign. Indicates to me they know what they want, need, and doesn't currently fit. Gotta go 'out with the old' before 'in with the new'.

The TE Royals was beat on the sack, not Peters. The QB should've recognized the mis-match and checked out of the pass play to a run. If JP isn't allowed to audible (which very well may be the case, I don't know for sure) then he should have burned the last timeout, discussed what he saw with the coaches on the sideline, and went out again on third down with two plays called...one a pass and one a run.
