It's a pop-culture extravaganza, not something designed for football fans.  It's grown to become that over the years.

I'll watch it if we're in it if course.  I'd turn it off at half time though.

I remember the year the Simpsons ran an episode during halftime... That was my favorite halftime but that was like 20 years ago

The NFL has eaten itself to death.  It's grown to become an insatiable pig.

The Bills, in Buffalo, is the only reason I watch any of it anymore.  I typically don't even watch the Super Bowls anymore.

To each his own, but I have difficulty with anything that has become entirely about money to the extent that integrity is compromised.

completely agree with you. I haven't watched a superbowl in over a decade.

I can not stand the over the top pageantry of the event.

Buttheads!  Man, had I not grown up as a Bills fan, I think I’d stop being an NFL fan.  Their greediness and attitudes are getting to be too much.

If the Bills ever move from WNY I will no longer be watching the NFL myself. If the cost to watch a full season climbs more I will start fading away. Really tired of multiple streaming services to be able to watch a full season.

    Yes.

    Next question.

You mean like taking over a team, trading away and cutting players, and making the playoffs for the first time in 2 decades with Tyrod Taylor as your QB?

Kind of like that, but making it on a last second win by another team to back in and then missing the playoffs the following year still says its a test of McDermott. I know I want to see the team succeed, and that takes good leadership when you have roster turn over. The defense has some concerns but I think we are in good shape knowing we have the draft in front of us with Allen and a solid O. Still need to see what it is like with Babich as DC, and Brady's 1st full season at OC. If things start to go wonky how does he adjust.

They should sell shares (like Green Bay) for like $100.  The us Bills fans just need to buy 9.25M shares.  Easy peasey.

FYI.. The NFL put a kabosh to that right after Greenbay did it.

  6. Think about trading away our Known Commodity. Whom was not even the 1st QB drafted in 2018.  There were 5 QBs taken in the 1st rd in 2018 , and 4 of those QBs in the top 10. 2 of those 5 QBs are still playing for the team that drafted them and are successful there. 2 are journeymen (1 drafted 1st overall, 1 drafted 3rd overall), and 1 was a bust. Going by mock drafts and pundits Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold were considered the top 2 picks, and Allen was a debateable reach.

but to think we could trade away Allen for a boatload of picks and somehow our chances of overall sccess would guarentee us improvement is whacked. Unless you can 100% guarentee improved success there is not a GM in this league who would trade Allen

Hypothetical trade between the Bills and Chiefs.

Chiefs get a red balloon, a kit kat, bubble gum, and an Aaron Judge baseball card.

    Bills get Chris Jones.

    Discuss

Well the balloon needs to be purple. I don't hang on the extremes which these days is left or right

Honestly I need to up that Kitkat to a Snickers.

Everything else is good so I would then make this trade with those changes

by the time training camp starts they will have players capable of playing outside.

This diggs trade is going to turn out great for buffalo.  Training camp is going to be so much fun.   No more drama and nothing but upside from young players all over the offense.   Whoever they draft does not have to replace Diggs that is the big misconception here.  The team is going to have all kinds of weapons.

I have always said this and will always say this, WR are not what wins you championships, being a physically and mentally tough football team  that can win on the road is what wins games.  The defense is what is and has been holding up this team in the post season.   I am not sure they have improved that this offseason and I am not sure McDermott is capable of it.

I have zero worries about the offense.  WR do not determine championships, if they did Steve Largent, Chris Carter, Tim Brown, Randy Moss, Julio Jones, Larry fitzgerald etc....would have the trophy case that Tom Brady, Bill Walsh, Chuck knoll etc... have.  The bills just need a good young player who fits in with the team and will do his job and be a part of the team.  I am already sick of hearing about replacing diggs production.

I agree that replacing Diggs with a bona-fide #1 WR candidate MAY not be necessary. If Allen can distribute the ball we could be better for it. That all depends on a lot of things.

Does the group step up as a whole

Do opposing teams start to figure out Brady

    Injuries and depth

It could take the Bills some games to figure out their rhythm, and then you've got to hope they can endure late season games and possibly playoffs knowing the good teams will make adjustments.

For me it is all wait and see. Lots of questions no matter which direction we go

Have we decided if it’s better or worse to have a first round pick (along with the 5th year option) vs an early second?

I like the 5th year OPTION. The key word here is option
