  1. That probably had a lot to do with no longer being on the field with either Young or Sweat.
  2. I didn’t know that. Signing Carr reeked of “win now under any circumstances” and that usually comes from an owner. So, then the GM and coach have to go. A new regime will clean house and start over, like what Beane and McDermott did here. Fans will complain, but what do they know?
  3. The Colts drafted Nick Cross in 2022 who stepped in for Blackmon in the final two games and played very well. They could afford to let Blackmon go. The injuries, of course, are also playing a role.
  4. Screw DT. If the Bills have any business sense, they should pay Leighton Vander Esch. One glimpse of a LB with a neck pad would drive every man in WNY between the ages of 55 and death to purchase multiple jerseys.
  5. He was, in fact, the #1 WR in terms of catch percentage. Everyone above him was a RB catching screens and dump-offs. He was also 11th in yards per reception. Not bad for a slot guy. He was also #1 in Success % and yards per target. He only had 45 targets all season. That number needs to go up. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/receiving.htm
  6. Those are really stupid odds. He's not a FA. Brandon Beane controlls any move that the Bills make. Under what scenario would he trade Diggs to NE or KC? It's like they're not even thinking.
  7. He is the one-man Tre White hate squad on TBD. I used to keep a list of all the posters that wanted to trade Josh Allen. There were more than you would think this year when the Bills lost to Denver. But I really think that @Dillenger4 is alone in his Tre White hate.
  8. Robinson already signed with Carolina on 3/13
  9. Brett Farve was from Southern Mississippi and he did OK in Green Bay. This has to be the dumbest take of this offseason, and we had a guy at the Combine who doesn't believe in space.
  10. I'm happy that I don't have to make these decisions. All of these guys have unreal college film, but they all do every year. Have you ever seen Kadarius Toney's college highlights? He looked like a cross between Tyreek Hill and Barry Sanders. Now he's a punchline.
  11. Poles was getting roasted for only getting a 6th for Fields, so he called up Rap and leaked this to him personally. You gotta think that’s what happened here. Same thing happened last year when the 49ers traded Lance.
  12. It’s a dead spot in the off-season. Free agency is over for the most part and the draft is more than a month away. The NFL media needs content.
  13. If tweens were involved, he’d be in a different type of trouble.
  14. If I could be sure that I was getting Higgins and Smith, sure. But what if instead it was a choice between Diggs and Jalen Reagor + Laviska Shenault? Kadarius Toney was a can't-miss prospect as was Elijah Moore. People are talking as if there are 15 future hall of fame WRs in this draft. History tells us that is not possible, and drafting at 28 you are just as likely to get a bust as a star. So, I want them to take that chance but to keep the sure 1,000 yards of production so as to not waste a year. I don't think that's an unreasonable position to take.
  15. That means that the money isn't good enough for the agent to leak it to Schefter.
  16. Teams that are very active in FA usually have a lot of cap space and a lot of holes to fill. That usually means that they had a poor roster. And, by definition, they are signing guys that their previous team either didn't want anymore, didn't see as being worth their current contracts, or didn't see as being worth the price that their new teams paid. That being said, I think that the Houston Texans had the best FA this year. They added vets to a great young core. Their rebuild has been remarkable and will be a model of how to do it for other teams in the future. The worst FA has to be the Washington Commanders. The only criteria to get overpaid by them seems to be "guy that played for Dan Quinn." They threw a lot of money around but I'm not sure that they are any better than they were last month. Or Carolina, but they are a raging tire fire so they don't count.
  17. No, the Browns just took on a massive contract for essentially nothing. The Cowboys traded for Cooper, overpaid him, and then no longer needed him at that price after drafting Lamb. There was no dead money because the Cowboys traded him before restructuring. Twice, the Brown used their massive cap space to absorb other teams mistakes but dead money was never in the equation.
  18. If Russ struggles at all, the pressure from fans and the media to start Fields is going to be enormous.
  19. Because I don’t want to go into the season with two slots and a rookie.
  20. I know, but everyone is responding to a fake post above and it drives me nuts. A Google image search on the Twitter profile picture reveals that. OMG, he's just having fun.
  21. That's not even smoke. It's like the smoke machines at a Motley Crue concert.
