This isn't a new topic, of course their were whispers.  There were whispers last off season also, where people on this board fell over themselves defending Allen.

I myself have no problem with Allen taking a few months off.  I am much more concerned that he doesn't  like to watch film to the point that the other QBs in the room tease him about it and no, the  " teams play me differently excuse" is the kind of BS you expect from your high school kid about why they didn't study.

    Where did you see that?

Bernard is terrible. He's undersized and for being so you would expect him to be super athletic which he's not. If he would have played in the preseason we would have all seen that. I definitely don't like the idea of them experimenting with him in a live game. This is going to be bad. Hopefully Kirksey will be available but I doubt it

Seems pretty athletic to me, idk

They’re all open. We park at ECC and I’ve parked at twin oaks and La galleria in the past. Parked at ECC yesterday and the “main” / lively lot that is to the left when you pull in is closed for construction vehicles. The “overflow” lot that sits up higher is the only lot on that side that will be open this year. I imagine it will fill very fast each week. The road you used to walk down to get to the stadium is closed so you have to make your way over towards Southwestern and walk the sidewalk till you hit the entrance for lot 4. There is a way you can cut along the construction fence towards twin oaks and shave a few steps but yesterday it was impassable on the way in because the rain had created a mini river. After the game I saw people crossing that spot with apparently not much trouble.

I think in the season what will happen is that we’ll end up on the other side of ECC that is typical more tame and will have to walk out to the sidewalk on southwestern and take that route. Otherwise you’re going to be “off roading” through mud, uneven ground, etc.

A little late to seeing this, but just wanted to say thanks for writing up the thorough response! I really appreciate it. Go Bills 🙂

I listened to them talking about bildos for 5 min and I missed the Kamara talk originally lol. They said they like the stadium renderings and they want to see bildos flying into the new field and then they were questioning if people have sex dungeons. It got weird

They would have to overpay for Kamara considering he's going to be suspended for a large number of games next season. He's not worth a 1st or whatever it would take. I don't want to hear anything about RB's unless it's like a 4th round pick aka you couldn't draft someone that good with the pick presumably. Lots of good backs available in round 2-3 usually

I'm trying to follow the logic here... we'd have to overpay because he's going to be suspended?

Or was that supposed to be: we'd have to overpay for Kamara, and because he's going to be suspended, he's not worth a 1st.

Taking the Rams and the  2.5 as a psychological hedge.

I will take the Rams and the points.

Rams win,  at least I can get some $.

Bills win by more, I am still happy.

And if the Bills win by one or 2, best of both worlds, Bills win and I make $.

I did this with the DraftKings ML bet that cashes out when the team you bet on goes up by 7 (or wins). I think LA gets out to an early lead, testing our young corners.

Buffalo / / Greg Rousseau, much has been made about the improvements to the D line and I think it unlocks Groot who had a solid B- type first year with some good plays. Von has taken him under his wing and I think with a year of seasoning and growth you see him become a force which helps keep the Rams passing attack from going wild as Stafford has limited time to throw

LAR / / Van Jefferson, he is an incredibly fast elusive receiver who had 800 yds, 50 rec, & 6 TDs last year. Much has been made about Kupp/Robinson for good reason, but Van Jefferson could be the real issue if the young BUF CB's lose coverage on him or because of scheme due to covering Kupp/Robinson I can see him becoming the difference for the Rams. This is also where Tre White not being here to shut down one of the two big guys on his own may hurt.

Not sure if you saw, but it's looking like Van Jefferson won't play:

Van Jefferson truly might be day-to-day, as coach Sean McVay said, but Tuesday was not the day.

The Rams’ receiver remained the only player on the roster not to practice as the team listed him as DNP yet again.

The Rams will give Jefferson a designation Wednesday, the day before the NFL’s season opener, but it seems unlikely he plays against the Bills.

Jefferson underwent “minor” knee surgery Aug. 2 after an earlier surgery on the same knee in the offseason. The Rams are taking a deliberate approach in his return, not wanting to rush him back into action, though they have not ruled him out of the season opener yet.

I’m going to go with a defensive player…

    Taron Johnson

Agree with this. If he can shut down Kupp, we'll severely limit their offense.

Did i miss something? I cant find anything on the interwebs as of yet..all i can find is this ..which are tweaks to the roughing call. Hmm  any help anyone?

For those who don't feel like reading the article, here you go:

With this years re-examining of the rule, the NFL is now going to take into account incidental contact to the quarterback. Incidental contact with the arms to a quarterback’s head and neck area while attempting to block a pass will no longer be called as a penalty and defenders who unintentionally hit a players head and neck or lower legs will no longer be penalized.

The rule will also now allow players to make a play on the quarterback’s legs if they are on the ground, an action that was previously prohibited.

  8. Regarding the fact that she was 17, I'm sure this will be Araiza's defense:

There are some exceptions, however, to sex with an underage person in California. These include:

    Marital Exception

A spouse having sex with their married minor spouse.

    Reasonable Mistake Of Age

Reasonable mistake of age with a person who is 16 or 17 years old. The mistaken belief has to be that the alleged victim was 18 or older.

These exceptions are designed to protect young people from facing criminal charges for having romantic relationships. An experienced attorney can evaluate every last detail of your unique situation and determine your best defense strategy
