  1. Re-Re-Re-Rewatching the series right now.

Up until the last time I watched it, I chose to believe Tony lived and just kept being himself.  After reading an older thread on here and some of Chases interviews, especially in the last year, I now watch fully knowing he gets killed. Makes it a bit more interesting as he keeps being Tony and how his excess was his downfall.

Still have affection for the character, but am now able to see the fatal flaws I missed, or chose to ignore.

Also, I do believe Paulie had a hand in him getting wacked for sure.

  2. At first I listened to him because he was someone who didn’t tow the company line. After a bit realized he was on more of a vendetta.

Had Empire and WNSA as an alternative back in those days, and his type of act made those options much easier to listen to.

Guy could have gone a few directions. Either use his NFL background to provide educated and informative info to his listeners, or go after the head coach and Glenn Parker on a daily basis.  He chose the later proving he was nothing more than a bitter, old man.

If it was an act, meh. Something tells me it wasn’t and he truly wore his emotions on his sleeve.

Rasul Douglas will be 30 years old when the season starts.   He’s good. Is that where we want to spend 10M?   Is that the type of player we should extend in the Secondary?

Tre White is coming off two major injuries.   We will have no way of knowing what he is until late in camp.. at best.  He took a while to come back off the last injury.  Now it’s two.

Cutting both of them and going young in the Secondary makes us players for a Hollywood Brown or a multiple pieces on the DL (for example).

It’s a risk, but Benford is very good.  Elam has shown flashes but is not someone we should count on.   So we draft 2-3 corners in Rounds 3-6 and tell Elam it’s his job this summer to fight off the draft picks for CB2.

I get what you are saying.

Tre could give us a discount.  Doubt it. Douglas is 7 million this season, no corner his ability would come that cheap.  He played exceptionally well at the end if the season.  Yes. Benford played very well but Douglas is better.  Not counting Tre out until we see how he performs.

As for Elam? I wouldn’t count him as more than CB4 if he improves.  He has skills staying with his man for sure. He is a liability tracking the ball and the ability to play the man and the ball simultaneously.  Yeah, he had a nice end zone int.  That was a flash, not consistent enough.

I’d make sure the defensive backfield is well stocked. If they fo their job It makes the defensive line better.  Even if we were loaded with studs on the d-line, low talent, or unproven defensive backs can kill you.

And don’t forget. Whatever money we have, we have to address our safeties.

Came here to post just this.

Meanwhile we're over here with post-injury Tre and 30 year old Douglas, acting afraid to do anything with either of them.

Afraid? Douglas is signed for next year. And Tre was playing well after his AC, and why would you do something with him until you know how his is when recovered? Either you have a great trade piece if they chose, or a guy who at worst is CB2.

Douglas is prime for a contract extension. He definitely has potential to be our CB1 with the way he played at the end of the year with a 1/2 season on our team.

  5. Had darn good stats last year. Can only think he’d progress. But he is Baker.

47 million dollars in cap space without restructuring or any other cap friendly moves.  Can certainly afford him, back load the contract and see if you can get an out if he regresses.  Or maybe strike a 2 year deal?  Although I’m sure he’d like to parlay last year into a payday.  Like others said, the Bucs may be willing to let him set his market and go from there.

  6. Davis is a heck of a player and seems like a genuinely good dude.

The instagram montage helped me remember all the good plays he has been a part of.  Not sure why the regression this year.  If he played to that level this year? Probably would have helped us to more wins, and maybe deeper into the playoffs.

Guy can catch the tough ones, toe drag swag with the best of them, but his mental lapses with Josh this year were frustrating.  Someone will pay the man.  I feel he will be a great number two somewhere, but money is tight and it probably won’t be here.  Would love to see him elevate his play here and help us make the next step in the playoffs.

Ahhh, okay. I would think that if you take the virtual stadium tour and decide to forego the season tix in the new place, you’d get your $150 back (hence the term “deposit”).

I was told by my season tix rep that the season tix waiting list is non-refundable.  Wanted to increase out tix by 2.

The Bills and Bills Mafia will be celebrating our ever living asses off next February.

    Just wait and see.

    I hope you are right.

I feel there are too many holes this offseason to fill to keep us at a competitive playoff level.

I hope you are right and I am wrong. But I think we will see Kermit easily win another with a bunch of magical plays. And Purdy will fold under the pressure.

Purdy cannot afford another first half of garbage ball. Didn’t play well first half against Lions, but pulled it out second half. Can’t give kermit a half to build a lead.

I don’t know any reputable Bills fan has any interest in watching any of this garbage since the team we root for went up in flames three weeks ago.

I’ll be watching.  Rooting for the Niners, but definitely a Bills fan first and foremost. Been a Niners fan since the Montana days.

Honestly on chiefs overload. Kermit’s 4th (edit) SB and all that has happened Bills v chiefs. Want the Niners to win, but it would be a “anyone but the chiefs” for me regardless.

Wish my Bills were playing for sure.

Awesome. They could have gravity drained to dirt but the pump should be fine. Mine's 10 years old and hasnt failed. Remember above where I said you need to replace the media in the neutralizer? Well, now you have to clean the pump, too. Again, not a huge deal. Its a DIY job and Ive done it like three times in the ten years Ive had it. Just regular maintainance....no big deal.

If you have baseboard, you may indeed need to go hotter on the heat water temp. At least 160, most likely. Mention to your plumber.

Need to get a neutralizer.  On Amazon and Home Depot for 80-150 for an inline type.  Unfortunately had no dirt for it to gravity drain to, pump should be fine I hope.  As for cleaning the pump, I’ll leave that to the heating contractor for when they service the unit.  Getting the service contract, nothing in this unit is anything I can work on.  Old boiler, I changed out the zone valve motors several times over the years.

Forgot what they said baseboard was at, but feel it does need to increase.

    Appreciate the knowledge!

    How did it go?

Went well.  Good crew. Did a great job.  Even pulled my old boiler out of the crawl space.

They ended up running the condensate via a small pump to my slop sink.  Tried to drill a hole in the crawl space pad and discharge that way, but I wasn’t a fan of that.  Only issue versus gravity is the pump is a point of failure.

Need to tweak the boiler water heat setting I think.  Baseboards are not as warm as usual and the furthest room heated, but not to the usual level.

They would probably run the line to a slop sink if you have one or configure a new drain direct into your house sewer main with a trap or tie it into your central air condensate system with a pump somehow. Ask them. And make sure they arent using any metal fittings on it! And ask them about the neutralizer.

Gotta ask. No drain in the crawl space. Very dry, none needed.  Also, have septic.
