Maybe they're avoiding 6 because they're bringing back Li'l Dirty? Or maybe they just want the stink to wear off.
84 - Scott Chandler?
As for Roland Hooks -
Thanks for that - I was at that game, I remember it vividly!

I think it's because of the game being flexed.
-
I don't doubt it.
This will be Brown's third callup, right? So he's gotta be signed to the active roster IIRC.
-
Thanks for the info! I wondered if it was something like that....
-
I haven't seen any yet, and by rule they should have been done yesterday by 4:00pm, unless the fact the game was flexed from tomorrow to today impacts that.
Anyone know anything about that?

Buffalo's version of that roster move is Tre White's return.

I never follow college ball, but the thing that intrigued me about Allen as the draft process was unfolding was reports of how much improved from the end of the college season to the Senior Bowl after getting some QB coaching in prep for that game. So it made sense that Beane would go after a guy who was raw but showed a pretty good response to competent coaching. Throw in there what they found about his personality, leadership, competitive fire, and willingness to do the work, and I think you start to see what they saw in him that made him the guy in their eyes. Of course we don't know those things until well after the draft, so the reactions make sense to a certain extent.

We've been pretty lucky injury wise the last few years, it was bound to catch up to us, and it appears to have done so. Better early in the season than late IMHO.

Sorry but your study refers to running QB’s not QB’s that are being used as though they are a running back. Show me a study on the shelf life of a running back.
As I said, I am ok with scrambling and extending plays. I am not ok with pounding a once in a generational talent QB into the line or exposing him to hits as though he is a running back.
I think he takes more of a beating in the pocket to be honest.

I am still worried that the Bills are far too dependent on JA as a runner. As a part of this, too much RPO. You can’t keep putting your Franchise QB out where one hit can take him out for a season. Sorry, but the time has come to say “no.”
I am ok with the “extend the play” and scrambling. Let’s just not use the guy like he is a RB.
Sorry but that's just not the case. Running qb's are not more prone to injury, based on a rather large sample size of all orthopedic injuries in the NFL from 1980-2018.

Ran across this on YouTube, surprised it wasn't posted already - it's a pretty good watch with some fun post production by the Bills' PR staff!

There's a whole lot of games left after Sunday, if he doesn't go it may be a matter of making sure he's healthy for the long haul.

Not even an obligatory "PSE could be reached for comment," which means they didn't try, which means, yup, hit piece.
"Journalism" is pretty much trash these day.

So we hate Dabol again? Just checking the temperature this week.
That seems to be the gist.
Personally I think he just outsmarted himself.
He'll get it right next game.

That last play in slow was amazing. I didn't realize he looked back to the middle of the field before he threw the ball to Brown in real time.
Same here. That was amazing!
