One disappointing first round pick for another: CB Kaiir Elam to Detroit for WR Jameson Williams. Who’s with me?

Damar Hamlin Writes about 2023's Nicest Place in America

Probably anticipated being released soon after the season and was putting in a bid for his hometown team. -
What’s his projection? I’d use one of the 4ths with the hope he beats out Edwards at LG. Seems more talented.

Creed scored a perfect 10 on the RAS. Limmer scored a 9.82 with his biggest detriment being his weight, so you’re not far off with the comparison!

If you long press the link it’ll give you an option to see a preview without going to the page.

He’s had 2 colossal draft blunders: Basham over Humphrey and Ford over Metcalf. Neither of those picks were hindsight, everyone here was clamoring for the player that didn’t get picked.

Remember the Diggs tweet that set the Bills trade in motion? “It’s time for a change” I’m sure there were Vikings fans doing the same as Bills fans, defending his posts, arguing he was just talking about changing his bed sheets. He has a toxic personality.

Settle had one great rep where he destroyed Quentin Nelson and then nothing else really.

What’s the story on Jerome Baker? I thought he was one of the better Dolphin defenders, but he’s still a FA. Don’t know how healthy he is, but I’m a bit surprised he hasn’t signed somewhere. I would’ve liked him over Morrow.

Greg Rousseau 5th year option, extension candidate?
Brand J replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s definitely better at stopping the run/setting the edge than rushing the passer, but he still wasn’t among the top 10 DEs in run stop win rate. -
WR Diontae Johnson Available for Trade
Brand J replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank god the Panthers prevented that pitfall for us. Johnson is their problem now. -
If there’s not an easy out on that Diggs contract within the next two years, that’ll be the next albatross choking this team.

That’s not true. He was far and away our best pass rusher before the knee injury. What was it, 8 sacks in 10 games? It wasn’t only the sacks either, he consistently got pressure. In the game against the Chiefs last year Eric Washington schemed the DL around what Von wanted to do rather than have a defined role or rush attack for each player; his defensive line mates responded off of him. That’s rare to give a player that much freedom, but he had earned it. He was a total dud in 2023, but 2022 he was still a menace. The Bills season hinges in many ways on him getting back to form, or at least close to it.

Chris Jones signs with KC 5yr $95M guaranteed
Brand J replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s funny how Shaq Lawson was a consensus first round pick and Jones was a projected late 1st-early 2nd. Had we picked Jones at 19 with Lawson still on the board everyone would’ve been up in arms. Fast forward to 7 years later… -

WR Diontae Johnson Available for Trade
Brand J replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m sure the “2” could be easily dispelled by asking any devoted Steeler fan if Diontae Johnson dropped more than two passes last year. Their fans get super frustrated with him too. He’s like a more talented Isaiah McKenzie with the same penchant for dumb occurrences. I wouldn’t trade a 7th for him, mentally, he’s not the type of WR this team needs. -
WR Diontae Johnson Available for Trade
Brand J replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
NO! He’s an explosive WR, but drops and dumb mistakes seem to follow him. I remember watching a prime time game a couple years ago and saying “Diontae Johnson is the type of player I’d move on from if he was a Bill.” No, no, and no. -
Trade 6 players for one? No thanks. The rounds may be lower, but that doesn’t mean gems can’t be had in the 5th and 6th.
-
Bengals fans are mad because they lost their starting safeties and only get two 6th round picks. I don’t know how much those two signed for in FA, but Beane was careful to navigate the cap to ensure we’d get a 3rd for Edmunds $18M/yr contract. He said he even spoke to people to make sure his signings weren’t jeopardizing that. Something does feel wrong here.

Welp, sorry for those who wanted 2 WRs drafted within the first 2 days.
-
Sorry to say, but if Bass needs a specific holder to do his job, he can go. And I’m a Bass fan, but I think the yips never truly leave a kicker and will pop up at another point in his career.
