Was injured in training camp, torn ligament in his ankle or something. At one point tried to play through it and it didnt work out well. Dude has been hurt all year.

In his post game presser he eluded to not having an explosive first step early in the year due to injury.  He apparently is healthy now, but I still wonder if he would be given a shot if not for all the injuries.

Fins are playing their coldest game in Franchise History. They will have lost the game before even getting on the field.

AccuWeather is not very accurate in localized scenarios

No doubt.  Andy Parker said it's too early to tell where exactly the concentration of snow will be due to the high winds.  What they do know is it will be south of the city, so OP is definitely a possibility, but far from a definite hit at this point and time.

I remember seeing King and His Court when I was a kid. When he pitched between his legs, he said to the crowd, "I have to be really careful with that pitch or I might hurt my ... knee. One time I hurt my knee so bad that I couldn't breathe."

They came to Dunkirk many many years ago and played my fathers softball team.  My fathers team lost rather convincingly, they were amazing athletes and so much fun to watch.

  4. I grew up in Dunkirk and there is really nothing there anymore, not that it was bustling by any stretch of the imagination when I was there.  Such a shame, it's right on the water with beautiful views.  They fixed up the Marina, which is really nice, but that's about it.  Houses are definitely cheap there.  That being said, if you Mother has been there for some time, is she willing to leave?  My parents still live there and I would have to drag them out.

If she's willing to move, I would choose the northtowns (Amherst, Getzville, Williamsville, Clarence, Lancaster) personally.  If your mother wants to stay in Dunkirk, I would go with Eden or Hamburg, 30 minute drive to/from Dunkirk.

People always complain about the taxes, but the overall cost of living is relatively low in this area and I really think it pretty much evens out in the long run.

    Best of luck!

Gate time isn't checked you just roll in and get parked Disney style.........neither was the time of covid testing.....you could roll up whenever.

You can sit in your car for as long as you'd like before the game they weren't checking that.

You can get out and move around drink a bit around the vehicle if you act like you are getting ready.

If you didn't get your covid test result back yet you can go to bioreference.com/get-results and set up an account and view them and use that as your proof for entry.

If NYS sends you a questionaire and you fill it out it will show on the ticket takers device that you have passed your test when they scan your NYS drivers license.

Thanks!  Just checked my results and I am good to go.

  6. Just had my Covid test this afternoon.  It was quick, well organized.

For those that went to the first game:

Did they let you stay in your vehicle until the gate time?

I heard rumors that people were drinking outside of their cars, just no grilling?

Or am I better off just going to a restaurant before hand?

My gate time is 7:05.  Way too early in my opinion.  I emailed my rep, but got an open ended reply.  Any idea if there was flexibility in gate entrance times?

    Any advice?

    GO BILLS!!!!

  7. So you offer a combo drink/food deal...2.50 for an order of chips and a $1.50 for a beer.  Still easy to get around it.  There are gym's in WNY that are open that are now calling themselves places of worship.  You do what you have to do when owning a business.  It's up to the public whether or not to go...

Not saying I agree with it, but I understand the hail Mary's...

Soon taco eaters may be washing down their burritos with beer at most Mighty Taco restaurants Western New York, according to a spokesman for the chain.

The fast-food chain, known for its quirky ad campaigns, has taken the first step to obtaining a liquor license from the State Liquor Authority for 19 of its 21 local restaurants, confirmed Mighty Taco CEO Russell Jasulevich.

“What’s better than a burrito and beer?” asked Jasulevich. “A taco and beer. It adds another dimension to our business.”

The liquor license would also allow the sale of wine and hard cider, said Jasulevich.

  9. I knew the father from high school, not good friends but hung around in the same circles.  So my facebook feeds contains friends and friends of friends posting many pictures of Luca, such as Luca and family at the Bills vs Pittsburgh game and getting a Bills jersey at Christmas, he was a big Bills fan.  I have a 7 year old son and get chills every time I see them, I just can't even imagine the pain.  Getting the Bills Mafia to donate to the foundation would be a great way to ensure the foundation lasts and his memory lives on.

    God bless his family.

    RIP Luca...
