  1. I say lb we all know milano’s injury prone and just turned 31. I question their depth (minus Dorian Williams) behind Bernard and Milano to me, this is a must do.
  2. For me, there’s no better example of growing up than Aaron Williams he was a spoiled, lazy punk at first. Fred Jackson took him under his wing and turned him around.
  3. I say the final game at the old stadium will be a romping over the chiefs in the afc championship game and the first game in the next stadium is opening night Thursday 2026 when we drop the banner as superbowl champs opening up vs Detroit clearly I’ve thought about this lol
  4. That’s a lot of money for a guy with ONE career playoff sack in four games
  5. Thurman Thomas is literally my favorite bill ever. (Granted I started watching in 1990) one of the biggest travesties in nfl history was him not being a first ballot hall of famer completely inexcusable that said, the OP mentions 8-9 years of greatness i disagree he was all world 1990 thru 1992 by 1993, I believe his ypc was already in the high 3’s compared to the previous years of mid 4’s, so his decline started relatively early (Someone please correct me if I’m wrong) Love Thurman. He was clearly the best all purpose back of his generation. I’d also rank him above Emmitt as his teams were more stacked Barry was just more jaw dropping on completely ass lions teams I read somewhere that while at Oklahoma state, as awesome as Thurman was, opposing coaches told their players (and maybe this an urban legend) whatever you do, do not injure Thomas. You do not want to face his backup. Nice topic!
  6. Already injured huh? seems Bosa has already started mentoring him well
  7. it appears he is now more 'celebrity' than a football player. never goes well (distractions, etc) and i'm happy because he's with a division rival
  8. under. everyone eats, remember? don't forget shakir is still here samuel is healthy palmer. moore cook running the ball. they spread the ball around a lot and i don't see 2 guys getting that much in this offense, TBH.
  9. don't do it the last two times i was looking forward to a celebrity 100th birthday was bob barker and betty white both came up just short
  10. yup getting a call blown, for example, against you in week four in quarter 2 vs jacksonville isn't the same as getting a blown call for you in the afc championship game in the fourth quarter.
  11. oh and head coach of the all drought team to me was chan gailey.
  12. isn't he still 18 or something i thought?
  13. i hope doesn't puncture a lung blowing out his candles.
  14. yup. you're right. he was more or less washed at that point is why i forgot!
  15. the drought era with allen at qb would destroy this current squad take your pick at rb: mccoy /jackson/lynch wr: moulds/lee evans/price/steve johnson mario williams and aaron schobel at the ends cb: clements, winfield sr etc etc
  16. The Steelers ALWAYS know when to get rid of someone , don’t they?
  17. The only year since 1990 where I missed every single game and did not give two $$$$$ was 2001 I was a 19 year old sophomore in college there was 9/11 I had no access to the games in my fraternity house and the bills were beyond god awful I was more interested in lifting weights, beer and girls that season
