  1. In my mind, Beanes finalizing a deal that brings in Max Crosby, Chris Olave and Budda Baker for an incredibly team friendly price and in reality, he’s probably pulling the trigger on a deal that sends next years first round pick and 2027s 3rd rounder to bring back zay jones
  2. Not sure it’s that we sucked or would never be able to win the Super Bowl, just think people get tired of seeing us lose the exact same way, because of the exact same problems to largely the exact same team(s) every year and refusing to make any attempt to address the issue. But who knows, maybe I’m the super drunk and miserable guy in the stands trying to coach the team’s even drunker and more miserable assistant coach
  3. This isn’t going to be a popular statement but with schedules as they are and Drake Maye playing like he is, there’s a very good chance the AFC could run through Foxboro once again. Aside from their lackluster performance yesterday, the pats have been one of the more solid teams in the league and once they get past the bucs Sunday, have an incredibly favorable schedule. I have no doubt we can roll in there and get a W but I think Vrabel and Mr Kraft have more than just massage towels on the rise at this point.
  4. I really don’t understand the worry about trading away picks. This admin has a proven track record of not being very successful with early round draft picks. Why not leverage one or two of those picks for a proven commodity now?
  5. My thoughts exactly. I’ve heard Beane go on for years about refusing to mortgage our future and I get the concern but also understand that we have a once in a generation QB who isn’t getting any younger and a divisional foe who might have finally caught if not surpassed us in talent. If Beane can’t swing at least one meaningful addition here, it’ll be another year of depending on Josh to put on the Superman cape and do everything himself and another early exit in an otherwise wide open AFC.
  6. Kid is still getting lost A LOT in his assignments but freak speed and athleticism is allowing him to recover. Cant wait to see him when he’s more comfortable and knowledgeable in the scheme.
  7. At this point, gonna have to get the guys that clean the facilities at night out there playing three technique on sundays
  8. This is going to sound WAY out of the box but at this point in the game, why not try defending Kelce?
  9. 4th and 17 has to be up there with 13 seconds
  10. A strategically placed tackling dummy within the correct passing lanes creating optimum tripping hazards will pay bigger dividends than anything Rapp has shown capable of this year. Wishing a quick recovery but not at all worrying about what we’re “losing” with him out
  11. Gabe, White, Poyer, Phillips, Jones! If it were 2021, we’d be dominate! You know…….except when we played the chiefs
  12. Hate that no matter how many times he burns us or how old and slow he is, Travis Kelce is ALWAYS left wide open for 10+yds accompanied by a 15-20 second pan to TSwift. ALWAYS!!
  13. My opinions on the rest of the season rely heavily on the actions taken by the front office prior to the deadline. There are some gaping holes on this team and if we make a meaningful move or two then I am optimistic that there is belief they can compete for a championship. If not, it’s just another year of seeing how far they can ride on Josh’s other worldly talent and being totally fine going home early
  14. Feel like you gotta have some level of trust to seed one right in between two outstretched defenders or launch one down the seem for 50 or 60 yards and the receivers just haven’t earned that trust level so far this year. Has Josh missed some blatantly open and easy throws? Absolutely! But you can’t discount the mental game that goes into trying to throw subpar receivers open either. Bottom line, we need an NFL caliber #1 receiver option
  15. Any win in the NFL is a huge win. Run game looked great today. Defense seemed to remember they’re supposed to be tackling the people in the other colored jerseys and it’s good to be back on the W side of the column again. We still however do not have a #1 receiver. We have a defense that can’t stop the run and is mediocre at absolute best in pass coverage. I really hope this is not the excuse McClapper and the Beane need to not do anything before the deadline. Not ready to go back to holding my breath for the wildcard while josh still has good years left
  16. Yea that……………and the guys that line up on the outside of our offense. I can’t in good faith refer to them as wide receivers
  17. I’m saying there’s bag boys chasing carts down the hill in front of wegmans that are more athletic than anyone currently sitting in our wr room
  18. For all those saying we should not invest heavily in a receiver with a pulse, please see the last sack
  19. I’d take Evans 30 mins out of surgery and still trying to shake the anesthesia over anyone currently in our WR room
  20. I’m just wondering as a lifelong bills fan if I need to get ready to move back down to the basement of the afc east. The pats seem to be dominating absolutely everything right now while the bills continue to implode. Allen’s generational talent covered the warts of this organization for years but you can only absolutely blow so many draft picks before even someone with Josh’s talent level can no longer carry you. There’s not a whole lot to work with but the decisions made before the trade deadline will truly indicate the front offices feelings on this season and the next few seasons to come. I’m pulling hard for McClapper and the Beane but don’t have a lot of faith
  21. The question is, will they get him and the defense some kind of help prior to the deadline or are they content just sending him out every Sunday with his Superman cape and telling him to handle it and trusting him to score enough points to bail out the D. The cap situation makes things hard to do too much but teams have gotten far more creative with far less if they legit believe they’re in a Super Bowl window. What takes place between now and the end of the trade deadline will say a lot about how committed they are to winning this year.
  22. Can never hate too much on McClaps and the Beane as they pulled us out of the dark years. Having said that, their time has come and gone. Years and years now of horrible draft picks, getting easily outcoached and out schemed when it matters most and now an inability to put a competitive team on the field. Time to go. Just hate they took so many of Josh’s prime years in the process. Hoping whoever comes in understands you can’t simply march 17 out there and expect him to carry you through every situation with zero support
  23. I was absolutely shredded at the beginning of the year for saying the defense took a huge step back and Josh would have to score 40+ a game to keep winning. Hoecht and Ogunjobi were supposed to come in and somehow shed their career mediocrity to save a poor run fit defense. Now we can all agree, this is a .500 team who might luck up in some tight games and slip into a wild card slot. At least those of us who have been following the team even through the dark years are used to spending the season looking up at the pats.
  24. Guess it won’t be so bad going back to the basement of the AFC. We spent almost 30 years there so at least they know us
