Downplaying that performance from Jackson as a “Tyrod Taylor game” is beast message-boarding. I have to admit.

So this is Jackson’s first AFCCG? I’m kind of surprised by that. But you can’t argue with 2 All Pros and 2(?) MVPs. He’s one win away from flirting with Mahomes tier.

According to Baltimore fans on their message board, they are going to destroy the Bills or Chiefs by at least 2 TDs, there is a whole thread on it
According to this message board a couple weeks ago, the Ravens were going to struggle in the divisional round because they didn’t play all out to beat the Steelers in week 18. It’s all good. -
No risk, low upside. But I like the name recognition factor.

Because it’s a team game? How many collective championships do Dan Marino and Jimbo have in their resume. Meanwhile, there are plenty of scrub QB’s with championships.
The “team game/blame the defense or coach” stuff is perspective. One could also say Allen didn’t do enough in the first half of :13 to help the team win.
Keep in mind the standard boasted around here is that Allen is a generational player, best QB in the game, and future HOFer. His team needs to appear on the big stage for any of that to ring true.
No one debates he’s a consensus top 5/franchise QB and fantastic fit in Buffalo.

Lighten up, Francis. I voted for Texans to win. Just putting something out there that people might be thinking. No need to be insulting.
No one is thinking that without a debilitating inferiority complex. -

What about passing TDs?
Most of these comparisons and records rely on his rushing. The rushing proves he’s an elite athlete. We know he’s an elite athlete. But I don’t think the rushing distinguishes him as an elite QB…or better than Mahomes.- 1

3 of Josh’s playoff loses had little to do with his performance and a lot to do with coaching blunders. Josh is arguably the best QB in the NFL, I think it would be unquestioned if he had a top flight OC.
Your points don’t matter. They’re window dressing to make hometown fans feel good. Two more wins (not necessarily three) and all the stats and fringe records slot into place to bolster a QB who finally ascended.

This isn't the same Chiefs offense, where we need to score a TD every possession. There is wiggle for some error.
Nor is it the same Chiefs defense. Bills need to take advantage of their opportunities without a drastic shift in field position or momentum.

Tomlin's comments yesterday about a "collective" mindset following the game and now being a more appropriate time to address his contract was total class.

So true.
Allen played like garbage in the 13 Seconds game and the Bills would have won handily if it wasn't for Allen stinking up the place.
Great point as usual Airseven!
I’m sure it’ll be noted in the Buffalo sports hall of fame.- 1

Fun stats. But he’s got one AFC championship game appearance on his resume. As you say, he needs to win not just compile more rushing TDs.

Texans aren’t being disrespected. They’re a young team on the come up expected to take their lumps. It’s the trajectory the Bills were supposed to be on when they lost the AFCCG in KC.

My gut is telling me this team, coach, and QB can’t beat the Chiefs when all the chips are on the table.
My heart is still holding onto a flicker of hope.

I’ve heard Wright a handful of times and his analysis seemed rather balanced.
