  1. I remember exactly where I was for that game - in a Dallas hospital room post surgery for my daughter. Was supposed to be at the game but then she got ill. Thankfully her prognosis had improved by that date, and she recovered completely. The nurses were definitely giving me the business at the end. The good prognosis helped me from feeling too bummed out. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory ... something like Hank Bullough might have said.
  2. We've tended to allow a higher than normal amount of onsides kicks to be recovered against us. I like the existing rules.
  3. I believe in the run up to his draft the Bills showed a lot of interest in Trubisky. Recall even Terry went to a workout somewhat "under cover"
  4. The Kaepernick comparison seems right on the money today (not the drama of course which likely derailed a decent 10 year career). Fingers crossed for more than that.
  5. Madonna is sort of old. Wouldn't Dez be more post madonna?
  6. You will want to call and ask for instructions. They initially put it on your credit card first then refund it when they manually apply it to your bills bucks card (system glitch). Not eligible for the season tix discount unless you can buy in person though.
  7. Well I guess I just evened out their silly policy. Ended my 30 year season tix. Never lived in buffalo that entire period. Only made one game the last 3 years as the flights are too much of a grind.
  8. Besides seeing a few minutes on a couple of them (as the game is on everywhere you go), the last super bowl I watched was in 1988 as my boss was a big packer fan (they lost to Denver). This one will be the 20th year missed. I will watch again once the Bills make it back ... if I'm around that is!
  9. My all time favorite you tube clip! The prank name release to the news station after the Asianic plane crash in san francico. I had to watch it again after seeing these names.
  10. Solved my own issue. Code works when I cut and paste it in from the email. Doesn't work when I typed it in (and I was careful!).
  11. Received an email for a free subscription (season ticket holder benefit I assume). I got a "invalid code" when I tried to activate. Anyone else get this issue?
  12. You need to get back to lot 7 - pig roast, the great igg, nafl and other historical artifacts!
  13. As of 10am tuesday morning I could no longer select non club level seats for the Jets game.
  14. Always try to get in at 9 for the Monday club holder opportunity. 2 for Jets in 331 (no lower deck showed up) and 2 for Steelers in 138. Availability and sections seemed like last year.
  15. Got in right at 9am. Got decent seats for Colts and Cowboys. Went to checkout and got nuked by the system. Had to get back in (took about 20 minutes) and got the same two games -- this time had to pay up for the premium seats for the Colts game -- system indicated "limited availability" when I got back in, probably only singles then,
  16. Didn't we already pick up a 5th year team option in Dareus's contract?
  17. Bot 4 extras for the opener this am. Seats in the 100-level mid way up (in sections 116, 129, 107, 138) were available this morning and were still available when I checked back this afternoon. Other price levels were available as well. Should be plenty available tomorrow, hopefully no server issues for you all.
  18. It is a bit different. There is no upfront payment for the Bills tickets. They merely add-on a "fee" to the ticket prices each games.
  19. I ended up going back for 2 more today. Looks like they are running low on the $75 seats - they show three seat locations when you pick a price level and only one of the three was at that level today, they other two were at the $68 price. Aside from that you should be fine.
  20. Bought on-line. Got right in at 9am (site did not allow any earlier access). No notorious web problems, though I don't think there are a lot of available buyers on this first day. In fact I checked a hour or so later and similar seats were still available to where I bought.
  21. Available early for 1960-79 season ticket holders and club seat holders. May 19th for post 79 season ticket holders. Got a couple for the home opener section 107 (30 rows up). Looks like a lot of locations/tickets available (about the same as last year, more plentiful than 2 years ago). First year I remember premium (club seats) being sold in this fashion. Most club seats were lower 6 rows (uncovered)
  22. currently ... Dallas <--- Washington DC <--- Boston <--- Chicago <--- Philadelphia <--- Boston <--- Dallas <--- Kansas City <--- Chicago <--- Williamsville <--- Buffalo (east side - Broadway/Bailey) been flying in for Bills games from all those locales
  23. Wish Mario put a clause in his contract to improve the Bills IT staff
  24. You are definitely on to something here regarding tailgating. I like to take the Bills Season ticketholder survey each year (despite its horrible construction) because there are usually questions that give you a clue as to what the brass is thinking. I especially took note as to how the survey mentioned the "priviledge of tailgating". I responded in my free form section that I did not regard tailgating as a priviledge and consider it a very important part of the game day experience. But the choice of words seemed interesting.
  25. My serious issue is that I honestly do not know how the flag is supposed to be flown. There are two "clips" at each end. Are you supposed to push a stick in some manner through the clips?
