  1. Most enjoyable sporting even I've ever had in my life was when Oklahoma State beat St. Joe's in East Rutherford... back in 2004 to reach the Final Four. Was at the game with my late mother and late grandfather about 10 rows from the floor where the game winning shot was made (Met Tim Robbins that game). We had traveled to every Oklahoma State tournament game and the ups and downs were nearly emotional... then John Lucas III hit the 3 with a few seconds left for the win.

    Pure joy. Hard to beat.

But no. Final Four hasn't taken over the Super Bowl. Not by a longshot.

What @Doc posted (litter box) was doing so as a joke. You replied "Another hoax" coming across that children's aren't IDing themselves as furries/cats/dogs/etc. They certainly are.   100% NOT a hoax.

No one said mistakes aren't going to happen. I'll take an accidental discharge over a school shooting. What's sad, this cop and what happened, that'll be counted as a "school shooting" by anti-gun groups and liberals.

Wrong.  But not sure why this is so hard for you (and y'all) to accept?

Seems he wants to live in a box/world where anything that a conservative or libertarian says... it's fake. Guess he hasn't noticed his woke party thinking it's cool that kids change their gender at 4 and identify as therian at the age of 12 (this girl also IDs herself as that... I had to look up what it even meant).

Does the 12-year old (also) have a litter box at school?

I've actually heard (rumors) of this being requested at schools. Not in this case.... but she does try to lick other students and will get on all 4's at recess to eat grass.

    Home life is horrible.

It's really quite sad that the late Gen X/Millennial parents are raising kids to be this way. That's who I blame for a lot of this insanity.

I can't decide if this Karen or Ditz...

Not saying that a drag show will result in making someone gay... but around 60% of suicide attempts today are from the LGBTQ+ community. 48,000+ suicides on average per year, that's a lot of people who identify as non-straight.

So then you kick out the suicides via firearm, the numbers aren't even close.

Around 4500 under 18 (vast majority are due to gang violence) die each year with a firearm.

I'd say drag shows ARE worse than firearms if those shows negatively influence children to question their sexuality too early. I work with a counselor who is working with a 12-year old who identifies as a cat (furry). Why? She read about it in a magazine her LGBTQ parent let her read.

Sad end to his time at the Bills. Hoping we fail forward here and come out somehow better for it.

When the Vikings moved on from Diggs they ended up with Justin Jefferson. Even someone half as good as him would make it palatable.

Not confident it'll be that way though

and now Minnesota gets the better deal with Diggs again

  7. I haven’t read through all the replies but I’m not happy.

We basically got screwed twice by Minnesota trades over a 5 year span.

Should have AT LEAST got the Texans 1st rounder. Not them trade to Minnesota for 3 picks and we get thrown a bone for NEXT year.

Regardless of what you think about Diggs, he was STILL A WR1!!!!!

This isn’t a good move IMO.

should have been 6.  Winner of Big10, Pac10, SEC, ACC and PAC12, and highest ranked P5.  2 Byes.

or if 8...Winner of Big10, Pac10, SEC, ACC and PAC12, and highest ranked P5 and 2 at large bids.

But now they have gone crazy.

So... just skip the Big XII?

I am a UCF season ticket holder and our game vs OSU was the brightest spot of the season. That being said we had played extremely poorly the two prior games and for obvious reasons you thought that was who we were.

That was a perfect storm game, literally. Your QB back and at 100% for the first time since the start of the year, weather sucked (which we didn't even have the right cleats for) and once we started turning the ball over... it was a snowball. UCF scores, Ollie fumbles on the first drive for OSU... UCF scores again. It's 14-0. We get the ball back? Interception. UCF drives half the field again, 21-0. It was over at that point. The team was down, OGIII was throwing a little fit and we got smoked.

People who just look at the scoreboard really don't know how it played out. 3 turnovers by half. OSU wasn't ready... at all.

UCF had some injuries in middle of year and got smoked by two middling teams. We lost by 2 to Sooners and by 1 to Texas tech and Baylor. We would have been 8-4 if not for some bad luck. All of our good luck came during that one game.

Yea, UCF with their QB at 100% would have been a completely different team.

OK.....I'll bite. What on Earth could possibly make you think that Oklahoma State will be a top seed? Is it the lack of worthy opponents? I give up.

OU and Texas are gone. Utah comes in, Arizona comes in... but the other school that ran the conference? Oklahoma State.

History, that tells me why. Not just the fact I'm a fan/alum. HISTORY.

OU has dominated the Big XII, despite being 2nd to OSU the past 3 years (we've been to two Big XII championships with OU going to zero)... but who's been the 2nd best team the past 15 years in the conference? It's not Texas, it's Oklahoma State.

Ok State returns the nations best RB (OGIII), a 18th year senior QB who threw for 3,400 yards, the leading WR and 5/5 OL. We also return nearly all of our defense.

Returning 80% of the team who reached the Big XII title game last year.

    Why not OSU?

South Dakota State (H): WIN - not an easy win, but we will win by 14+

Arkansas (H): WIN - Again, not easy but we're at home and way better. I'm glad their series is back.

Tulsa (A): WIN - nothing to add

Utah (H): WIN - This game is about 60-40, but first time Utah playing in the Big XII coming to OSU. It will probably be a night game in Stillwater, which is a crazy place at night.

K-State (A): ?? - Toss-up. K-State is always tough, but they lost their star QB. They also lost most of their offensive weapons. Still, it's KSU who is pesky.

WVU (H): WIN - W. Virginia will be solid, but again... it's in Stillwater and we always beat them.

BYU (A): ?? - Toss-up. OSU is better than BYU but on the road? Who knows.

Baylor (A): WIN  - nothing to add

ASU (H): WIN - homecoming, Arizona State has a long way to go to be good again. Beat them on the road last year

TCU (A): WIN - will be a tough game in Ft. Worth, good coaching staff. So it could go either way, but OSU 60-40

Texas Tech (H): WIN - we always beat the crap out of Tech

Colorado (A): WIN - might be tough, not impressed with how CU finished the past 8-9 games

OSU has a range of 12-0 (13-0 with Big XII title?) to 10-2 and the Big XII title game on the table. If OSU ends up 11-1, wins the Big XII... we will be one of the top 4 Conference Champions (IMO). If we lose, could swap places with Utah in the Playoffs because I think that's who will finish 2nd in conference.

So that's why. How WOULDN'T it be Oklahoma State running the conference with OU and UT gone???

No it didn’t the players deserve to get paid for putting their body on the line every week. The only thing it hurt was some blue blood schools like Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State’s of the college football world that wanted to keep everything the way it was. With only a select few blue blood football programs playing yearly in a 4 team college football playoff where the players got nothing money wise. Now the college football playoff will be settled on the field like college basketball is in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo

    Huh? Speaka-English?

First off, I never said anything about not giving players money. I don't have an issue with that. Thing is, college kids ALREADY got money (and I'm not talking about their scholarships, which could be worth $500,000). Players got stipends, between $2500 to $5000. Not a ton, but it was something. Now my issue was with not being allowed to work. They should have been allowed to work.

But now, they allow kids to get money. So there needs to be a cap on that number. Not unlimited amounts and they need to fix the damn portal. That's what's wrong with college football.

The NIL isn't hurting Ohio State, Alabama, etc. It's hurting the Tulsa's, Texas Tech's, etc.

  12. Why not? Lets start arguing!

(BYE TEAMS - highest ranked conference champions)

    1. Ohio State

    2. Texas

    3. Clemson

    4. Oklahoma State

    (AT LARGE)

    5. Georgia

    12. Notre Dame

    6. Oregon

    11. Michigan

    7. Alabama

    10. Penn State

    8. Utah

    9. Ole Miss

    Maybe's
    - West Virginia (my darkhorse)

    - Texas A&M

    - Mizzou

    - Arizona

    - LSU

    - Tennessee

    - FSU

    - Virginia (2nd darkhorse)

    - Kansas

    - Liberty

  13. Not exactly the same, but maybe more deeper to the heart than a NFL team... .

I'm a 3rd generation Oklahoma State alumni. I have two biological children, both girls. I took them to OSU games all their lives, my oldest is an artist (vocal performer) and wasn't into sports. She got offered to attend Boston Conservatory at Berklee so I never expected her to attend Oklahoma State like my grandfather, my dad or myself. My youngest daughter though, bleed orange.

When it came down to it, she didn't want to stay in state. She fell in love with Ole Miss and she's now a Junior. She is a huge Rebels fan... but she still loves the Cowboys.

I just let go and let them find their own way. One wasn't going to go to OSU at all, her talent was too much for OSU. The other though, I figured she would be generation 4 to go to school there, but she wanted to find her own way. But when it comes down to it IMO... her heart is in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Let him find his own way. I bet you anything, his heart will still bleed blue.

If Bernard and Edmunds were both free agents this year who would get the bigger contract?

I'd go with Terrel... his sacks/pressure and TFL are so key for us. He's also the heart of the defense right now with Milano out. Rather have Bernard. Not even close IMO.
