  1. You really think we’re converting there? I would go by the math, 71% chance of converting, if I am the coach The whole team including the offense goes into turtle mode at end of games. I agree that a lot of times we go into turtle mode, which is a reflection of the head coaches scared (play not to lose) approach
  2. 100% disagree, deciding to give the other team a better chance to win by 1.5X is not the "right call"
  3. Doesn't this mean that this decision increased the Bucs chance of winning by 1.5X from (2% to 3%), which is a huge increase. The thing that bothers me about these 4th down decisions is they are so simple. Does this give my team a better chance to win?? Yes, do it. No, don't do it. Making the repeated incorrect mathematical decision is a firable offense IMO.
  4. I think most of their look-a-like thread is pretty funny. I especially like Tyler Matakevich as Tormund Giantsbane, which is the ultimate compliment.
  5. What a Bills career. Does he get on the wall of fame this year?
  6. Hmm, didn't think this needed explanation. Ever been to a rock concert where everyone is sitting vs one everyone is standing. Which one feels more exciting? Maybe for a Dick Jauron team it is more appropriate to sit, but for Josh Allen and the SB favorites on MNF LFG.
  7. The game is more fun when everyone is standing and into it. The atmosphere in the section I was in was amazing. We all stood during play and could take breaks and sit during TV timeouts. I do understand the frustration of people who have trouble standing physically or for kids.
  8. Let's gooooo!! I can feel it in the air and it feels like football baby!
  9. It looks like Beane got this one right, neither Shaq or Big Phil were worth the money. However, It is difficult to say how how either player would have done if they stayed in Buff. I liked Big Phil a lot and sometimes injuries can be just bad luck.
  10. I agree with this 100%, that is why use of tax payer money can’t be considered an investment at all. It is a subsidy to the NFL owners, just calling a spade a spade. This is such a bad comparison. Libraries loan books to the community for free. Roads are free for the community to use. Spending money on a new stadium will simply allow the owners to charge more for tickets and make more money. The community gets no service, other than the ability to pay more (probably double the price) to attend games. I agree with you on this point. The identity for the area and the identity of all of us as Bills fans is something I cherish and absolutely do not want to lose. Is it worth putting $1B of tax payer money directly in the owner’s pockets? I think that is the tough question we all have to answer. This is another really bad point. If we give tax payer money to ownership to pay for a new stadium, is there any reason they won’t charge the absolute maximum they can and still sell out the stadium? Tickets will be set at the exact same price whether or not tax payer money is used.
  11. All hypothetical, but absolutely. Would you rather spend $700M for nothing or $3B-$4B for ownership of the team and all of the profits in perpetuity? If no, I don't think I will be asking for investment advice from you. Also, community ownership would be the absolute best case scenario for the fans.
  12. This story is heatbreaking and awesome at the same time. Rooting for an Efe load of sacks this year!!
