  1. Also bet heavy moneyline on bills this weekend because the chiefs can take another loss and still be in control of their division but at the same time giving strength to the resurgent Broncos/sean payton storyline and guess who denver plays this weekend? thats right the chargers who they will beat because the broncos just lost(to houston=perfect for nfl) and now everyone is off that bandwagon again while giving strength to Houston/Stroud. Come on, tell me how the afc east doesnt come down to the miami game, the perfect scenario for the nfl would be for buffalo to clinch a wildcard spot but with a win against miami they win the east and get a higher seed-what happens here will depend on who they want matched up in the first round of the playoffs, i think they are gonna give the bye to the ravens or kc who will both be 12-5, miami will be 11-6 and the jags will be 12-5 or 11-6 most likely 11-6 because you dont want them in contention for the bye and they may want Houston to be in contention for the division title as well so the jags and houston will both be 11-6 so the texans will win 3-4 of the last 5 and the jags will win 2-3 of their last 5 leaving one of them at 11-6 the division winner and the other 10-7 and a wildcard birth. miami will win its next 2 and lose its last 3 but will still win the division by 1 game but they will have winning momentum going into the playoffs so they will be underdogs in the first round. So KC will get the bye, the ravens will crush the bills in the 1st round or if they like the bills narrative we will win until the super bowl and get crushed by philly or san fran unless its finally the year where they throw western ny a bone(because of our increased popularity because of josh and damar). so KC or Balt get the 1 seed, then houston/jags division winner other wildcard, miami/buffalo division winner other wild card, and i think tomlin sneaks in but it could just as easily be the colts or browns depending on the most attractive narrative. ^^^^^^^^save me and reference me in the next few weeks ^^^^^^^^^^
  2. denver got a lil run to make them relevant and to bring up the question of sean payton and his abilities, chargers will charger because brandon staley will be fired at the end of the year and then the chargers will be on the up and up with a sexy franchise qb and huge tv market. Philly looks like its not invincible, kc looks like they are regressing, baltimore will be right there, the jags with trevor, houston with cj will make it, miami and/or buffalo will make it depending on if they want cleveland, pittsburgh, indy, or the broncos to make it, based on qbs and coaches id put the bills in front to get the 6th spot but if watson comes back to cleveland or tomlin or payton become the stories then their teams will make it in plus payton still has russ so id put it buffalo, denver, pitt to be likeliest to make the playoffs, guarantee the fins, ravens, chiefs and jags win their divisions then houston guaranteed one wild card with cj and buffalo likeliest to get the last spot and with that narrative of getting hot at the right time and everything with damar last year and all that coaching stuff with mcD they could decide to grease our path the super bowl in a re-match with philly or against san fran, either way we get crushed in the super bowl if they decide on that narrative to philly or san fran ***** save this post and re-visit in the following weeks so we can review the narrative*****
  3. not necessarily, think about it, the bills were supposed to be a contender this season right? well they just took one of the best teams in the nfl to overtime at their house and were whipping them in the first half, then they lose in overtime after the miscommunication(lol) between josh and gabe and the defense literally lets them walk straight down the field(see orlovskys critique of that drive, short pass to the boundary short pass to the boundary short pass to the boundary like 5 plays ina row). Now the Bills are in turmoil but are still good enough to play with the best in the league, I would almost guarantee that the Bills either win out or essentially lose out; we'll know this sunday against KC who also is supposedly not as good this year. Guarantee KC loses to Buffalo to keep us in it and grow doubts about KC then we beat the cowboys and the chargers and if they want us in the playoffs we'll beat the pats and miami, or we'll beat the pats and lose to miami, it keeps everyone involved while also supporting their other narratives while still allowing them to be flexible.
  4. They have these things called NDA's, which if violated not only can you lose(and will) all your money and assets but criminal charges can also be levied. You think someone who grew up thinking sports/entertainment is the only way out cares if its fixed by the time they make 'the league' they are not gonna risk their millions and their freedom to expose something that is making them, their families, their friends, and a lot of other people millions upon milllions of dollars every year, you really think someone would risk that?
  5. https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/nba-market-size-nfl-mlb-nhl-nielsen-ratings/ in the last 15-20 years which teams not in the top 10-15 market sizes has won a super bowl? the small markets teams that have won a super bowl; when was the victory? and what were the circumstances around it?(ie new orleans after katrina, ny/new england after 9/11, etc.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbes_list_of_the_most_valuable_NFL_clubs> -same questions based on value https://nflschedules.com/nfl-markets/ -same questions based on tv market size some of it is a little off because they don't take into account the whole region like the chiefs aren't just kansas city they are the only team in the state and surrounding areas and stadium locations; https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1lOV8fsfjwt41bOd0ln1ISFNVfK4&hl=en&ll=37.55688134801661%2C-96.7979675&z=4 -same questions
  6. sorry for the long winded reply, but it makes sense if you read it
  7. If anything, it shows not that we are cursed but that the league is somewhat scripted> the smaller markets get sold hope while the blame for not getting over the hump goes to bad luck, curses, a bad coach here, a bad player there. whereas the larger market teams always seem to have either some super drama that keeps everyone interested or they are made into a contender> see Chicago, Washington, KC, New England, the nyc teams, the california teams, Philly, Miami, and of course Dallas. just look https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/nba-market-size-nfl-mlb-nhl-nielsen-ratings/
  8. Agreed, I've been calling for his firing since our loss to Houston/Watson in the playoffs, even then his coaching decisions could be seen to limit his roster, I said I'd give him a chance to learn from his mistakes/experiences and he just hasn't, if anything he has gotten worse maybe ptsd from losing soo many games that he shouldnt have, especially the close ones and the ones where the offense took the lead with less than 2min and 30 seconds to play and we still somehow lose. Ive felt like Ive been living in a world where people cannot accept reality as it is, which I guess is true now that everyone lives in their own personal realities(safety bubbles where their specific beliefs are constantly reinforced as correct despite reality) that have been tailored specifically for each individual through their socials. History is repeating itself, I'll bring something blasphemous to the conversation; Marv Levy was a great leader and built a family culture that kept a talented roster together longer than might have been accomplished otherwise(that and all the winning they were doing sure helps keep teams together). They would regularly dominant the regular season and then get seriously outcoached in the playoffs/super bowl, between 1989 -1996 we had a top 5 roster no question, and despite making it to the playoffs/super bowls still couldnt seal the deal. Bills- Ralph Wilson, Bill Polian, John Butler, AJ Smith, Bob Ferguson(these guys built the roster) HC- Marv Levy, OC- Ted Marchibroda, DC- Walt Corey, Rbs- Elijah Pitts, OL- Tom Bresnahan, ST- Bruce Dehaven, Strength and cond.- Rusty Jones 1990- nyg- HC- Bill Parcells, OC- Ron Erhardt, DC- Bill Belichek, RBs- Ray Handley, WRs- Tom Coughlin, TEs-Mike Pope, OL- Fred Hoaglin, DLine- Romeo Crennel, LBs- Al Groh, Special teams- Charlie Weis/Mike Sweatman 1991- wash- GM- Charlie Casserly, HC/OC- Joe Gibbs, asst hc/defense- Richie Petitbon, DC- Larry Peccatiello, Emmitt Thomas, LaVern Torgeson, Rod Dowhower, Don Breaux, Charley Taylor, Jim Hanifan, Rennie Simmons, Jack Burns, Bobby DePaul, Wayne Sevier, Dan Riley 1992- Jerry Jones, HC- Jimmy Johnson, DC- Dave Wannestedt, Dline- Butch Davis, DBacks- Dave Campo, OC- Norv Turner, RBs- Joe Brodsky, WRs- Hubbard Alexander, TEs- Robert Ford, OL- Tony Wise, ST- Joe Avezzano, ST+C- Mike Woicik I highlighted the better coaches/coaches that were respected for being decent at their respective jobs, imo Marchibroda and Bresnahan were halfway decent coaches but who were given wayyy more credit than they deserved due to great players/roster instead of actual good coaches like Parcells, Belichek, Coughlin, Crennel, Groh, Weis, Handley, Casserly, Gibbs, Petitbon, Hanifan/Simmons, Johnson, Wannestedt, Davis, Campo, Turner, etc. who were considered quality coaches because of what they got out of lesser talent or unlocking hidden talent in unknown guys who had the physical traits but just needed some coaching. Now go back and look at each roster comparatively and then look at each coaching staff and then watch each game, and then without going into your personal safety social media bubble take a deep breath and accept reality and tell me how we were seriously outcoached when push comes to shove. Now I'm not saying they should have fired Levy but anyone at the time who objectively looked at the rosters and super bowl 25 and/or the next 3 super bowls or any of the games these Bills' teams lost over those years would immediatley see that the difference was in the coaching- gameplans, in game decisions and adjustments etc. and if 1st priority was to win a super bowl changes would have been made in coaching because the roster simply couldnt get much better without fielding a hall of fame all time greats team. Now back to the present, this roster isn't as far and away better as those 90s teams were but its pretty clear looking at the losses and looking at the games that matter; ie> regular season games with tie-breakers/1st seed in playoffs on the line and the playoff losses that the roster is not the problem/main contributor to why those games were lost. There are soooooo many good coaches out there that once you know your current guy isnt "the guy" that you have to move immediately to try and salvage the prime years of our current rosters' star players-Allen, Diggs, Milano, Oliver, Kincaid, Shakir, Benford, Bernard, Epensa, Cook, Torrence, Dawkins, Taron/Dane, maybe rousseau and spencer brown etc. and the last few good years some of the older players have in them like DaQuan Jones, Von Miller, Poyer, Hyde, Morse(who I think is undersized but is halfway decent but would like to replace him with creed humphrey etc), Leonard Floyd, Linval Joseph, Taylor Rapp, Rasul Douglas. Fire McD, keep the front office and Beane, keep Joe Brady as OC/asst to the head coach or promote him and let him bring in an OC like the Johnson's or Bienemy etc. and bring in a DC who is aggressive and will force the offense's hand that doesnt just sit back and wait for the other team to make a mistake. 9. You are 100% correct sir, thats what i get for those late night/early morning posts, but doesnt change my argument, a 44.1% win rate with this qb, these coordinators, this roster, etc. is shameful. The only way it becomes a one score game is if the coaches/players have screwed up because we should be double digit favorites in the majority of games.
  10. 15-19 does not help your side of the argument a .441 winning pct is not good, especially not with this roster, this qb, this defense
  11. exactly my fear, we saw it with levy too, just couldnt get over the hump agreed
  12. I have been saying these things about McD since our loss to Houston in the playoffs when Watson was still playing, in that season and game you can see how they are limited by McD, now in the past 2018-2019 I qualified my statements by saying that he was a young hc and seems to have truthful self reflection and can maybe learn to be better over time well now 5 years later the same mistakes, same 'feelings' of pressing/tightness in pressure situations, lack of awareness/knowledge of common leverage situations throughout a game, same lack of fundamentals, same over reliance on josh, i mean our entire team gameplan is to have josh go score a bunch of points then let the defensive front t-off and the secondary keep everything in front as the other team has to pass the ball-which is all well and good against bad teams and they also forgot the other half of that strategy which is having a top 5-10 Oline so when josh does put us by 14+ we can control the los and run the ball/clock. So many little things add up and put this team behind the 8ball every week, coaches are supposed to put players in positions to succeed- see carroll in seattle, daboll in ny, mcdaniel in mia, saleh in ny, bb in ne, oconnell in min, shanahan in sf, pederson in jax, etc. etc., all of these coaches are much much better than mcd. They say history repeats itself and if we dont learn we are doomed to repeat it, well if anyone here was a fan of the Bills in the 90's this is very much like Marv Levy and those rosters; love Levy and McD for their overall leadership/culture stuff but as far as tactical/strategic gameplanning x's and o's these guys are very much lacking luckily for McD he has had good coordinators and josh at QB, Levy had easily the best roster in football for almost a decade but his coordinators were some of the worst in the league, just look at the super bowl coaching staffs bills vs nyg/wash/cowboys and look at the gameplans strategy of each side and how each game played out. I know this is not a popular take as Marv is a god around here but I would rather win one super bowl than go to multiple, also if you replace Levy and his staff with any of the better head coaches of the time and we have a dynasty like the pats with BB/TB- yes the cowboys with jimmy johnson would have been a problem but with better coaching it would have at least been much more competitive. Do you want to keep evolving and getting better or do you just want to stay where you are now because you are in a better place than you were before? McD was the leader we needed to change the culture around here, and him bringing Beane gave us our first competent GM in a long time, now Beane has also been very lacking as a GM because the draft(s) have to be better but his free agent moves, trades and some later round hits have helped bridge the gap, but he needs to start bringing in dogs not just 'good character consistent players' oliver at 9 is a huge whiff, all dline and oline picks have been busts with the exceptions of dawkins and wyatt teller, none of the dlinemen have proven they are not busts, thank god von came here because just maybe he can teach rousseau what our coaches obviously cannot, milano and edmunds were nice picks, other than that cant think of too many good beane picks.
  13. Tru on not his style to throw anyone under the bus, i guess i meant a bills spokesperson should say who it is/was and that they are fired. Ill have to listen to his presser, but according to your post seems like a better reaction to the situation than, 'hes a good guy'
  14. Whoever did the 'thorough investigation' should be hung out to dry
  15. I doubt McD did a lot of research into it by which I mean he trusts the info he is getting from others, the article said the bills investigated it thoroughly but also said there she reported it the day after and has a ton of evidence, so it looks to me like whoever the Bills put in charge of investigating this situation seriously dropped the ball unless all her evidence/claims turn out bogus.
  16. Exactly, my only concern is that the Bills were made aware sometime in early June, seems like a bad move to cut Haack limiting options, though the article does say they did an invesitgation.
  17. Please read this before commiting one way or another: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34460423/buffalo-bills-punter-matt-araiza-two-san-diego-state-football-players-accused-gang-raping-minor-lawsui
  18. no he was not yet in the league when his took place. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34460423/buffalo-bills-punter-matt-araiza-two-san-diego-state-football-players-accused-gang-raping-minor-lawsuit
  19. Well I actually think due process is working albeit slowly, despite the outside opinions of anyone. According to the espn article I read; -she reported it the day after meaning there will be a ton of physical evidence(piercings being pulled out, bleeding/trauma to repoductive system, roofies in her system, etc.). -Furthermore, according to this article the police told her to call him and initiate a conversation in which he admits to having sex with her and that she should be tested for STDs and when she asks more directly he changes his tone saying he doesn't remember-all according to the suit filed by her attorney per this article.(if you are a lawyer would you file a suit alleging these things without corroborating support for/by said police/medical facility she was examined by/told to make this call) If this article is accurate there should be no doubt one way or the other as there should be more than ample evidence and the DA should clearly proceed with serious charges and everyone involved should be adequately punished. I mean this for either way it goes, if she and her lawyer are lying there will be no evidence, if they are not then as I said above there is clearly an abundance of evidence. I'm not linking the espn article because well you all probably already read it or frankly can find it quite quickly.
  20. I was recently able to get a couple days off the week of Aug. 1st and I'd love to take my 70 year old Die Hard Bills Fan Mom to a practice. If anyone has tix or knows where to get them I'd much appreciate it. Email> jhugs52@outlook.com
  21. RB WR CB S TE OL maroon/red(iowa state colors) Sorry I work overnight/weird hours, please accept my entry.
  22. What about trading him for 5 picks; a 1st, 2nd, 4th and 4th and 6th rounders the next year, ??
  23. Against good teams and in the playoffs it all comes down to the 'dudes' and the Bills have no dudes on their offensive line with maybe the only exception being a fully healthy Dawkins, other than that our Oline is journeymen/undersized technical players. We have no dominant(physically or technically) offensive linemen and it will show up in the regular season against front 7's like this and if we make the playoffs it will definitely be exposed there.
