And it’s working. Look at Cinci as well. 3 well above average WRs. We have no answers for it, so we might as well get in a gunslinger fight.

This is where I’m at. Clearly our defense isn’t good enough. It’s time to go nuclear on the offense. Draft WRs and a bunch of OL.

Free Agents and Offseason Situation

I’m leaning towards Beane being the bigger issue. Outside of Allen, he hasn’t drafted well enough. This team is starved of elite talent. We either need a total rebuild of the oline, or we need to trade up and grab another star WR to help Diggs. -
Beane’s mediocre draft record

I will absolutely vomit if anything Defense is taken within the first 4 rounds. -

Yep, when was the last time we drafted an elite player outside of Allen? Tre White? Before that Lynch? Our drafts have sucked. Maybe we can draft some more Cody Fords, Kolby Listenbees, TJ Grahams, and Aaron Maybins. -

Yep. Like I’ve said , we are going into a mini rebuild. We have to. The trenches are not good enough. The oline is not were it needs to be, and our WRs are not were they need to be. We are a good team with a few missing pieces, but we have to make a change of direction away from defense for a bit. -
Borderline, and I’m willing to give him one more offseason to prove he can help Allen. It’s officially hot seat time though.
-
Nope, it’s mini rebuild time. We have players like Davis, Poyer, Edmunds, and Oliver all coming up. We have tied way too much money on slightly above average game play. That isn’t going to win a super bowl, you need star players that are developed through the draft. In order to beat KC and Cinci, we have to load up with O talent.
-
I wouldn’t feel quite this way if our D didn’t look so soft. I’m totally over this defense. If we take a defensive player within the 1st 3 rounds this upcoming draft, I’m seriously going into anti Beane mode.
-
It’s mini rebuild time. The defense needs to be ignored for a year. We will lose some production there, but it is what it is. They had one job today and they couldn’t do it. It’s time to give Josh the talent he deserves on the offensive side.

Beane’s mediocre draft record

Yep. I have lost all faith in the defensive angle. A ton of draft capital and FAs to get absolutely rolled by top talent. It’s shoot out mode now and roll with a few defensive stops from time to time. Star WR and OL OL OL. -
Yep, this is where I’m at. If you can’t stop Cinci with White, Poyer, Elam, Milano, Edmunds, then we aren’t going to do it with another CB drafted in the 1st. If this draft isn’t a star WR and an oline smorgasbord then Beane needs fired.

Beane’s mediocre draft record

And it’s precisely why we won’t win a super bowl until we can control the games at will. We had no answer for Cinci’s attack. White is obviously not White. We have no money to spend this offseason, so our only chance is to outshoot opponents next year. We should be drafting 3 Olinemen and a good WR, if not Beane needs to be fired. -
Beane’s mediocre draft record

Honestly, this team has been weak and not many people wanted to admit it. We get pushed around when facing good teams. We need major Oline investments and another WR weapon for Allen. That is where I would dedicate all my resources this year. Let Miller and Hyde regroup and roll with the loss of either Edmunds/Poyer. -

We are filled to the cap space brim. All that money spent on defense just to roll over when it matters. White is not White, hopefully he returns to form next year or we are in trouble. Elam and Benford aren’t going to win us a super bowl. Might as well go all out in the draft for offensive power weapons to out shoot teams while Miller and Hyde heal up and Groot continues to progress. We need a star WR opposite of Diggs, if Diggs goes down, we are in serious trouble. We need to Oline help. If it was my call, I would not draft a single defensive player in the upcoming draft even if we can’t re-sign Edmunds/Poyer. It should be more weapons and protection for Allen. -
We’re heading to England next season

I have great expectations. -
Hopefully Cyrus is there from Florida when we pick. He plays with a mean streak. If our first round pick is anything other than WR or C/OG I’m going to be mad.
-
Well all the wife’s would probably love this idea, geolocation.

We don’t need a safety in the 1st. There are a ton of very good safeties in this draft class that can be had in the 3-5th rounds. Trey Dean (UF), Hicks (Cinci), Jay Ward (LSU). If we must bag a better quality one, there is Brandon Joseph (ND), Brown (PSU), Battle (Bama), Skinner (BSU) who can be had in day 2. This draft is loaded with great safety talent, no need to take 1 in the 1st round.

Halftime Adjustments a Myth! (Per Peyton Manning)
Milanos Milano replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I usually make halftime adjustments too. Slow it down, switch it up, otherwise at risk of being blown out. Gotta finish. -
Well you are never out, so I can see why you would think it’s speculative regardless.
-
It’s always better being in than out. In and out in and out.
