Then honestly what is the point in having a thread like this? It just comes down to speculation as none of us are privy to the investigation. Not sure why I get so emotionally invested in something that doesn’t even pertain to me if they don’t want us to know.

Oh I know, I’m just trying to understand it better. I’m not a law professional or a detective. I just know weird stuff happens and people get framed a lot more than we know. I still think Brian did it, but the theoretical account I stated above is a reasonably plausible scenario.

What main evidence are they looking for? If nobody was around them that day/night, it will be virtually impossible to prove he did it. He could simply say a jogger came next to the van and strangled her and ran off. Then proceed to tell them he was afraid nobody would believe him so he took off and lawyered up.

I’m not sure. We don’t even know how she died. Strangulation, blunt force, etc. I just find it weird that Brian is only a person of interest still. There must be a reason.

For unauthorized financial transactions. How is it he doesn’t have one for wanted murder? Say he does get found and arrested. He still isn’t being wanted for murder yet. Which I can’t understand why.

Why haven’t we gotten a full autopsy report and why isn’t Brian been issued a warrant for his arrest for wanted murder? What is the hold up, the longer this goes on, the more it makes no sense.

Hey I never said it had to make sense, just stranger things have happened. Like I said it’s obviously a low probability, but things like this are why law enforcement has to do their due diligence.

What if Brian knows there was a hit and he was told to keep quite and run or his family gets whacked. It’s like a .1% chance but weird stuff happens.

Don’t get me wrong, I do think he killed her, but proving something is actually really hard. We just don’t have all the pertinent information the feds have. I always hold out a sliver of doubt because stranger things have happened. We don’t know, there could have been a hit against the Petito family and Brian could be framed. I put this at .1%, but we just don’t know. The best hit jobs are ones where the people ordering the hit know they have kompromat or leverage, and seeming how they could have known Brian had a domestic violence incident, what a perfect time to place a hit. All of this is strange that they didn’t issue a warrant out for his arrest for wanted murder, but they get him on unauthorized financial transactions. Chances are Brian is just a dumb criminal, but truth is stranger than fiction sometimes.

This Brian guy is 100% a moron. If you truly killed someone, you don’t go using their financial stuff. I still find it very weird that he hasn’t been officially announced a suspect and a warrant out for his arrest for wanted murder. Instead they got a warrant on his dumbness with unauthorized transactions. Still 90% he killed her, but this is all very strange.

What I really want to know is, why isn’t Brian officially a suspect and a warrant out for his arrest? There must be a lot more going on behind the scenes than what we are aware of.
