  1. I hate it. Our franchise hasn’t done crap in it’s entire existence. We are ready right now, and I hope we pull the trigger. If we don’t do anything, I’m not entirely sure we have enough to beat teams like TB or the Rams. Their D lines will abuse us. Players like Scherff and Barkley would help counter those defenses.
  2. I like Beane, I think he has done a relatively good job. But I’m a firm believer that to in order to take the next step and win the super bowl, you need to make a trade or a big FA acquisition to put you over the top. We are ready for that big boy move. Kelly had Thurman, and I think Allen needs his Thurman and a Guard. We have enough talent on defense to win with how good our offense plays. It’s time to go get Scherff and Barkley.
  3. Why can’t we make big boy moves like this? I really hope Beane does something, because he needs to make a move. His build through the draft has been good, but he’s missed on a few picks as well. The Rams have built a very good team. I hope we make a splash before the deadline.
  4. We can get this in the draft this year. There are no good RBs this year in the draft or FA.
  5. It’s bs though. Our OC should be on the hot seat because of it. Allen is being paid top money and being a battery ram is a terrible ROI plan. No more unnecessary Allen runs, this is precisely why we need to go after a Barkley.
  6. Well at some point they have to pull the trigger to put us over the top. How much longer until we win a super bowl? This year, next year? When? At some point you have to make that one aggressive move to get another star player that puts us over the hump. The time is now.
  7. The fact this team keeps using Allen as a battery ram is going to absolutely come back to bite us. It’s ridiculous that the coaches are even doing it.
  8. I’d do it though. We don’t have many other missing pieces. We are ready for a super bowl right now. Even the great Jim Kelly had Thurman. Allen needs his Thurman. I just want to win a super bowl. I don’t care how we get there, just win!!! We are ready, lets make moves.
  9. Then blame Beane then, he brought these guys in, and has failed to draft competent Olinemen outside of Brown.
  10. I wouldn’t hate it, provided he can heal up and be ready for the playoffs. A super bowl victory is worth screwing ourselves over in cap problems. Just thinking of Barkley or CMC on this team makes me want to shout. The things this offense would do is mind blowing.
  11. No other RB is worth trading for in my opinion. The only RB worth it IMO is Barkley and Swift and given how the Lions suck, they might be open to it. Singletary and Moss are terrible.
  12. Why would it be unrealistic? He is due for a contract in 2 years, and they might not want to sign him to a new contract. It doesn’t hurt to ask. We are ready for a SB right now, and Saquon would be the missing piece. We can worry about the contract mess next year after we win the super bowl with him this year. It would be worth it.
  13. I went with these 3 RBs, because I think given those teams situation, they would be the most “realistic” option. We can always address this in the draft next year. There are no good RBs in the draft this year and no good FAs. I honestly don’t know how anyone could choose just continue to roll with Singletary and Moss, they are terrible.
  14. I think we are a start RB from being nearly unstoppable on offense. What would you do given we are nearly built for a super bowl run already.
  15. I know it has been discussed here, but I would absolutely pursue a star RB this year. I think realistically, the only RB that could be traded for that would actually help us is Barkley. I would trade out 1st round pick and a player. I would then sit Barkley for the next 5 weeks to heal up and then slowly incorporate him into the offense just before the playoff run. Our offense is a star RB away from being unstoppable, even with our issues on the Oline. Barkley can catch out of the backfield, so we can mask some of those issues. CMC is the only other RB I would consider realistically trading for. I think I would do it, because next years draft for RBs is not very good and neither is the FA. Our team is built for a super bowl right now, and I would definitely pull the trigger for a game changing RB. We had one with Thurman, and I think Saquon could be our Thurman.
  16. This is only the case because this franchise has yet to win a super bowl. Fans are tired of incompetence.
  17. I tried to understand, tried to understand, tried tried tried to understand, but he’s no magic man.
  18. I know, but the best way to stop that is to keep the offense on the field and keep extending plays and eating up clock. Offense didn’t do enough in that regard. This is why we need a better Oline and RB. To beat physical teams you have to keep them off the field.
  19. They weren’t, but again, our offensive woes at times kept Tennessee around. The best defense is a good offense. We keep Tennessee 1 dimensional, we win. The way to beat teams like TB, Tennessee, and Cleveland is to score early and force them to throw the ball. We have proven we can beat 1 dimensional teams like KC this way.
  20. I think they are still good. We don’t play well against power teams. Our offense needs to be able to take over games against these kind of teams, to get a substantial lead early. If Josh goes 3 and out against a team like Tennessee and TB we become trapped and even more 1 dimensional than we already are. Every time we play teams like this, it’s apparent our Oline isn’t good enough to win a Super Bowl, but we are very close. If we had the Colts Oline we would win the super bowl this year, no doubt about it.
  21. We do need better trench play for certain. Whenever Allen has a clean pocket, he’s nearly unstoppable. I fully believe we are a LG/C away from being super bowl winners.
  22. It doesn’t matter, we are way to 1 dimensional and loss the point of attacks all to often. We need to invest more into the lines.
  23. It is a major issue. Allen has to dance back behind the line because he has no choice. I was always wishing we had the olines Peyton had. Clean pocket for days. Then watching our Oline get tossed around in the trenches when we need a nice run play or two. You are blind if you don’t see the Oline as a major problem.
  24. We don’t have power TEs or FB to play the bruiser game though. You could throw screens all day, but who blocks once teams figure out what you are doing. We are just to 1 dimensional. We are a poormans KC with a better defense.
  25. I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m still really happy with this team, but like all of here I want to win a super bowl. The only way to do that is get past physical teams like Cleveland, Tennessee, Tampa, and KC. KC is just unbalanced as a team enough to the point we can play a little 1 dimensional to stop Mahomes. You can’t do that against teams like Cleveland, Tennessee, and Tampa. We are really close to winning a super bowl, I just think we are short a couple of players still. If we focus super hard on the Oline in the draft and get 1 FA difference maker on D, and I think we win next year.
