Maybe you just learned that in 2016. I certainly didn't. Russia. China etc. have been interfering in our elections for decades.

In 2016 there were Russian Facebook troll farms.

In 2020 states changed election laws by means other than their state legislatures (unconstitutional) in order to mail out ballots or applications to everyone on known corrupt voter rolls.

Prior to 2020 universal mail in ballots were codemned by both sides of aisle as a recipe for fraud. Including by Obama.

So no I wouldn't consider both scenarios "widespread".

    Trumps government agencies!

    Talk about pathetic.

    Next.

You know what is pathetic?  SO MUCH FRAUD HAPPENED in 2020 that the DEMS didn't ensure that the DEMS also "won" down ballot...

There seems to be many on the left who remain unaware of the political shift that occurred in the GOP post 2016.

From the moment Trump won the GOP nomination the party spilt. You had traditional Republicans and then Rinos/Never Trumpers.

Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are and always have been squarely in the Rino/NeverTrump camp.

Rinos/NeverTrumpers oppose and hold in contempt Trump and his supporters every single bit as much as Democrats do.

So you can play word games and call this sham committee "bipartisan" all you wish. It's simply yet another example in a long line of examples of where you've been had, bamboozled, hoodwinked, duped, scammed etc..

The reality is that this committee is  uber partisan on the only issue that matters: Disdain for Trump and anyone who aligns with him.

This is why not only is it not working, it's backfiring. The majority of Americans are more likely to believe the opposite of whatever stories this committee weaves.

Oh we know about the shift..

    So does Eric

Why, when we just experienced the most secure election in US history?

In other words, less cheating than has ever occurred ever in US history.

So the concern about cheating should be at an all time low if people truly bought that.

But you already knew that and missed the point on purpose.

    Or you're just obtuse.

Because your cult just planted 60+ election fraud law suits and lost just about all of them?

And now your cult is building off those suits passing voter restriction laws?

Why do you play these games?

Good question. I do not know.

Either way when 75% of all voters are somewhat or very concerned about preventing cheating in elections, then the 2020 mantra of it being the most secure election in US history absolutely did not resonate with voters across party lines.

Oh I dunno maybe Trump crying fraud 6 months before the election didn’t help.

You mean like when he actually said on January 6th, 2021 in his own words and with his own voice for people to go to the Capitol and to "peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard"

What do you suppose the chances are that we will see or hear that exact quote and/or video entered into the committee record?

I'll go with 0.0 for the committee in search of the truth no matter where it leads.

    You're a lemming clown.

We could have put 1 trillion of Covid Stimulus money to "the bridge" and end this worthless program over the course of a decade.

Over 50 percent of federal spending is on SS, Obamacare, Medicaid and Medicare.

And our federal spending, thanks to the Branch Covidians, is destroying the economy.

We warned you massive inflation was coming and it's going to get worse - they know it and won't tell you they'll just poo poo radical ideas like "balancing the budget" or "cutting spending."

The Bush GOP thought we could do both - cut taxes and still spend.

Can't.  You have to take an axe to Federal spending and never ending year over year budget increases:

    From August 2021

The High Costs Of Too Much Government Spending

America is engaging in an unprecedented spending spree. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates that the infrastructure proposal and the proposed $3.5 trillion reconciliation spending plan will result in $2.9 trillion (about $8,900 per person) of additional government borrowing over the next decade. This debt will not solve our problems. America needs more private sector innovation to solve our biggest challenges—uplifting the poor, healing the sick, and protecting the planet—not more government spending and top-down regulation.

Too much government spending harms society and individuals in several ways.

First, it increases the cost of living via subsidies that drive inflation. Government subsidies artificially increase demand. The result is higher prices that disproportionately harm the working poor and middle class. The companies with subsidized offerings get richer, while these higher prices increase demand for larger subsidies. The cycle repeats, and costs head skyward.

Donald Trump Built a National Debt So Big (Even Before the Pandemic) That It’ll Weigh Down the Economy for Years

The national debt increased by almost 36% during Trump's tenure

Trump’s most enduring legacy could be the historic rise in the national debt It rose almost $7.8 trillion during his time in the White House — approaching World War II levels, relative to the size of the economy. This time around, it will be much harder to dig ourselves out.
