If someone like Tank Dell who is shorter, slower and maybe even lighter than Worthy can be good in the NFL…. Why can’t Xavier? He is not a one trick pony
IMO he is better than Tank Dell right now.
I think the Bills would need to move UP to get Worthy. With the combine 40 record and legit tape, I don't think he's there at 28.

I knew that contract extension was going to be a problem, and I remember people crapping on me for suggesting it.

Who says they didn’t like those guys? They wanted a vet for a young Allen to aid his development. I don’t think you can conclude that they didn’t like Jefferson, Aiyuk, etc.
That was the report at the time, I recall Beane and company doing some heavy WR scouting in 2020 and word was they didn't like what they saw, thus trading for Diggs, a sure thing. Maybe the plan was to trade the pick all along though, who really knows.

This regime is good at identifying WR talent later in the draft (Davis, Hodgins, Shakir have all done well) but I question their ability to evaluate first round talent. In the 2020 draft, they didn't like the guys they scouted and proceeded to trade the 1st for Diggs. Meanwhile, they passed on the likes of Justin Jefferson, Aiyuk, Higgins, and Pittman. I'm happy with Diggs but the fact they didn't like these guys is a major red flag.

Absolutely. Samuel is an ideal "screen guy". With Brady liking to throw those Im glad they identified that they needed someone with his skillset to run those rather than force it to Diggs. I anticipate those screens being more successful this season with Samuel.
I would cringe when they gave those screens to Diggs, he was already banged up and avoiding contact. Looking forward to watching Samuel create some YAC on those.

Excellent signing. Good RAC guy. Good hands as well. Upgraded.
I expect there will be lots of receptions at the LOS for this guy. They had Diggs receiving those throws late in the season and that’s not his game at all.- 2

The squares are a great way to get a bunch of people involved and you don’t have to be watching the game together. I find them kind of boring though, so I made Super Bowl bingo cards this year and it was a lot more fun. You can only participate if you’re at the party though.

That was basically the perfect the punt, but the Lions blew it.

Moody has been bad this year. When you draft a kicker in the third round, he should be the best kicker ever sheesh
-
KC just lets the other teams beat themselves, too easy for them.
-
Lamar sucks in the playoffs, pathetic effort tonight.

Amazing the Ravens are still even in this game.

That was awesome to watch Flowers fumble after that idiotic taunt, he deserved that.

Betting on KC at 2.85 was free money, good luck Baltimore.

Last offseason, MVS got 10M a year from the Chiefs, and Allen Lazard got 11M from Jets. Gotta think Gabe gets something similar to that, if not slightly more.
-
Anyone but the Chiefs, I'm so sick of everything going their way. Yes they are good, but also extraordinarily lucky year after year. Now they have Taylor Swift and you know the NFL is dying for them to win.

With how bad Bass has been, that should have changed the strategy. You can't just try three times (first run was just a wasted play too), not get it, and then have confidence in Bass there, wtf were they thinking? Awful strategy, thanks coach!
-
Could that game been any easier for Mahomes? Bills had to grind out everything on offence but KC just marches up the field. McDermott sucks but he'll be here forever so get ready for more disappointment every year.

Even if Bass make that FG, it would just have set the stage for Mahomes to go down the field for game winning FG and then national media just go gaga about him. The play was 7 points or bust or you kick with little or no time left to force OT
Yup, I don't blame Bass, he has been bad and never should have been in that situation, we needed a TD there.

Totally agree. I told my wife before the drive started if they had to settle for a FG Bass was gonna miss it. Didn’t matter how far out it was. I figure that would be a McD decision, Romo was commenting on just how much confidence McD had in Bass if the game was on the line…. Womp womp womp
Having any confidence in Bass is insane, all of his kicks in the last two games were questionable. Then you watch Butker and he drills everything right down the middle, just painful. -

Play the 3rd and 9 to gain some yards. Then go for it on 4th and 3 or 4. Because even if our bad kicker hits the kick KC has 143 and 2 TOs .. does anyone think KC and Patty would not get 3? Please …
Thank you, that 3rd down was so poorly played. It’s clear that Bass is useless so you have to try anything to get the touchdown there. Was way too much time on the clock for the Bass field goal attempt, KC and Butker would have beat us regardless.- 1

Was anyone actually shocked when Bass missed the kick? He was absurdly bad last week, and his extra points and short field goals were dicey today.
-
Called it, knew Bass was shaky as hell the last two weeks.

Why is their defence getting so much better as the game goes along?

I want Xavier Worthy but they'd need to trade up for him, can't imagine him being there at 28. Adonai Mitchell would be a nice consolation prize though.
