I’m not saying Von Miller has to play 100% of the snaps, but if he is getting in the same ballpark of snaps as AJE and the other DE’s, McD and Frazier are idiots.  You don’t pay a difference maker huge $$$ to just be part of a JAG rotation.

He'll probably play around the same number of snaps as Rousseau and Ed.  While Lawson, Phillips, AJE, Basham, and Settle all see around the same number.

I'd imagine the coaches and players don't care who's on the field as long as they're winning games. They understand their roles on the team and signed on to do whatever it takes to win a Superbowl. It's not about some divas crying to get more targets or play more snaps to higher higher sack numbers.  It's about putting all the other BS aside and putting your focus on a bigger prize. One that can only be obtained with the help of so many others.

  2. The Bills make a massive trade with the Giants and end up with picks 7, 36, and 112

They give up picks 25, 57, and next year's first.

Also the Giants receive Tremaine Edmunds, Jordan Poyer, and Devin Singletary.

The Bills would receive Saquon Barkley, Kadarious Toney, and James Bradberry.

The Bills select Kyle Hamilton with pick 7

    Treylon Burks selected.

This makes our first round board complete - with 10 players presumably out of reach and some QBs in the mix we are guaranteed to have a shot at at least one of these 14 players.

Really curious how it ends up in real life.

I'll let the voting open just in case that somebody else reaches 15 votes but my main goal was fulfilled. Thanks everybody for their participation!

When the draft starts just cross out players that were selected and then when it gets to the Bills pick it will hopefully matchup with the boards pick. Otherwise you can matchup how the board falls in line with the perceived value of the players when they're taken.  I.e. the 10th pick was our first pick so it's a wash but the 11th pick was our 15th so we're plus 4 on that one.  Or something like that... You'd have to make a rudimentary formula but I have faith in you. lol

Those are scouting reports from years and years ago.. he just pro bowled at left tackle... Kiper also called him the best tackle in the class

He's a tackle who can play guard, not a guard who can play tackle

They're not flipping him to guard .. anything they're getting another right tackle to battle brown

I personally think he would excel as a guard and probowl =/= all pro. He's a definitely a good player and a leader on the team. He can still be both of those things as a guard. It seems like the transition from tackle to guard isn't a hugely prohibitive factor. I.e. tackles can be guards, but guards can't be tackles, so to speak. Also if they draft him he could be the swing tackle and learn the ropes while Dion holds down the fort at LT until he's ready to take the reins

While I agree I don’t think they would move Dawkins from LT to guard, I think people are using that line of thought since they couldn’t move Brown inside to guard. I mean I guess they could, I’ve never seen a 6-7 guard, but that would be a massive oline. Josh wouldn’t  have much trouble throwing over them either since he is 6-5 at least.

If Dawkins is sliding anywhere it would be to RT if they got a true stalwart LT

They aren't moving their LT they just paid to Guard... Besides you don't move a top 10 LT to guard

What they just paid him is irrelevant if it makes the team better. Dawkins slides inside and finishes his career as the Bills franchise LG. His student Penning learns the ropes from a solid vet and develops into a better LT than Dawkins could ever be. Nothing against him either. To paraphrase Dawkins here, they're looking to make that mac n cheese just right. I think it would help Spencer Brown's development too having his old teammate to add to the chemistry. Morse in turn gets better guard play of both sides and has a late career surge and plays out his final downs as a Bill.

Penning would immediately challenge Brown for the RT spot… the infatuation with him is strange as he struggled when he played last season…. Or if he shows well he could start at LT and you slide Dawkins inside at LG… either way, he’s too good and valuable a position to pass up if by some chance he is there.

I really like the idea of sliding Dawkins over to LG and having Penning start on the left side. You then have a solid battle at RG with Saffold and Bates. So long as Brown gets better, that line is much improved from last season. Then every year add high ceiling prospects to fill out depth and push starters

We wasted a year in our Super Bowl window last year while the Rams said “F those picks” and won the whole thing.

Since CB is the only glaring weakness we have, if you can get a 1st rounder under control for 5 years at a prime position with Tre coming of a significant injury, do it regardless if it costs you a 2nd rounder or any other picks this year.

Seriously. Try to stock the cupboard with young talented players. What isn't a need this year might be one in another year or two. Which is why I'd say the Bills are more likely to trade up for a CB than any other position. If they can't make something happen for a guy they really like they'll just sit and take the best player they can get. Then look to move back up in the second, package next year's second and get as low as you can get for another high impact player. In the middle of the draft they could look to swap picks into more value based positions relative to their draft board.

  9. With the 47th pick in 2022 TSW mock draft, the Washington Commanders select, Skyy Moore, WR, Western Michigan.

Adding options to the WR room to take some heat off Scary Terry is a high priority after adding Carson Wentz. While we don't believe he's an elite QB, Wentz is better than what we've trotted out since Cousins left and surrounding him with playmakers is imperative to our offensive vision. Skyy Moore adds a weapon in the passing game, he may not have the elite upside as others in the class but he's a solid player who can take advantage of the attention defenses give to McLaurin.

Corral- they have no viable QB.  Why not?

Gordon-  he’s a great ball player and everyone needs corners.

    @CNYfan is on the clock

Man, here I was hoping Gordon would make it a few more pics and the Commanders D would've been complete!

I mean I would be lying if I said I wouldn't love to land Jameson in the first...but that being said, there will be guys there in the 2nd who are exciting WR prospects still and unless we make a move for a CB before the draft in FA or trade, its hard seeing how CB isn't the pick in the first given the perceived drop off from there to our next pick.

Personally, I think we could take 2 CB's in the first 4 to 5 rounds.  And if we were to go WR in the first, wouldn't surprise me to go back to back CB in rounds 2 and 3

I like the idea of doubling up on early round positions. The idea would be to pay one and recover a pick for the other if/when the need ever arises. You still stay flush with young talent if you can cycle this through multiple years as a longer-term draft strategy.

I know we're not going to have the best offense so we're looking to have the best D. Load up on playmakers at every level and just let em loose

  13. With the 11th pick in TSW, the Commanders select Devin Lloyd, linebacker, Utah.

A few different positions were in play with this pick, ideally we'd like to trade down and recoup some picks. That's not possible here, so we picked the centerpiece of our defense.

With the Dline set, Lloyd will have free reign to wreak havoc on opposing offenses. He's a do-it-all LB and will elevate our defense the way Keuchly did in Carolina. With a solid defense we're hoping that the offense can take a step with Wentz and get us into the playoffs

With the 7th pick of the 2022 TSW Draft, the New York Giants select Derek Stingley, CB, Louisiana State University

The Atlanta Falcons and @Alphadawg7are now on the clock.

After fortifying our offensive line, it is time to get after the quarterback. Their were a few defensive ends we considered but Wink Martindale loves putting his CBs on an island to get after the quarterback.

We are concerned about Stingleys durability, but feel that with the right training staff we can bring out the best in him. A bit boom or bust but feel good about our odds.

  15. If he was there for the Commanders I would've considered him.  I think Wentz would be a good fill in for a year, then groom him to be the man next year.

    * I like the idea of pairing his athleticism with McCaffrey's. They make an interesting combo for a creative OC

With the 6th pick of 2022 TSW draft, the Carolina Panthers select: Malik Willis, QB from Liberty

The Panthers came out on the short end this off season in acquiring a starting Qb. We are gonna go for the guy with the highest ceiling. Kid has the arm talent and mobility, and we are gonna let him come in and take the job if he is ready. Trying to shoot for the stars as the Bills did with Allen.

I was thinking some of the same. But Hodge is my wild card. The thing I remember after the draft was McD stressing that the WR's need to catch the ball. Hodge had the hands, length and strength,  but his route running and timing needed work and he's not a burner. He was Gabe lite.

Even that first trading camp, they seemed like the same guy until Hodge got hurt and fell behind. I was looking for a jump last year, but the room was loaded with vets and Gabe was light years ahead at this point. Gabe didn't even get his shot until Sanders got hurt. I'm very interested to see how refined Hodge is this year after learning from Sanders and Beas. He has a skill set, can he put it all together and be a viable weapon.

I forgot all about him honestly. It's going to be interesting to see if the coaches feel the same way. He's a later round pick, same with Stevenson, so I can't imagine they're going to bank too much on them taking big steps but you never know.

I said 3 new receivers. Jameson Williams, plus an undrafted FA and a veteran.

If they draft Jameson, I don't care how the rest of it plays out. That's a successful draft in my mind. One of the most explosive players coming out would be dangerous to add to the offense. It would just help free everyone else up to make plays

Why do you assume McKenzie is leaving? I hope he steps into The slot when Beasley gets traded

I suppose I'm just preparing myself for a bit of a let down. He's shown that he can add a lot to the offense and is a solid, yet underutilized talent. I have no idea how the coaching staff and Beane view him and I don't want to get my hopes up that they bring him back.

Even if they do I could see them adding another 2 WR in the draft/FA. Adding speed to the offense is, in my opinion, a no brainer. Particularly in a record setting year for draftees.

They could go fir a TE and do more 2-2-1 sets.

you can line up a RB as a receiver or use Knox in a slot and use an e tra tackle.

There was actually a thread about Ken Dorsey and his offensive philosophy, which essentially said his background is in running 2 TE sets. So the Bills could go TE too (Gronk or otherwise)
