Idk what you're talking about. If you haven't noticed a difference in his performance the last two seasons - I don't know what to tell you.

funny how you clearly explained that you were looking at the past 2 seasons and this replyguy claims it’s been a 4 year excuse.

With Harty released and now Gabe signing with the Jags, what is the strategy/approach for WR? Are we going dumpster diving in Free Agency and then hoping we hit in the draft at WR?

Our current roster is Diggs, Shakir, Sherfield and Shorter (inactive all season). Currently not scaring anyone and probably in the bottom 10 as a WR group.

Anyone else uncomfortable? That’s a lot of pressure to hit on WR that is impactful in the draft! Do we trade up?

Thoughts or perspective on Beane’s approach?

probably sign one and draft at least two.

Any time I see anything about the Bills or Josh Allen almost immediately the Chiefs and Mahomes are brought into the conversation.

I just want my Bills news, I don’t want to continually be reminded of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs and their Superbowls and how the Bills always lose to them and blah blah blah……

It is so aggravating that not only do they win but whenever my team is spoken about I need to hear all the superlatives about the crown prince and his team.

I will be using this board to curate my NFL news this offseason, thank you to all the contributors that wade through the mud of the NFL offseason.

I can’t wait until the Bills and JA win one and finally get all these people to STFU.

(carve out for Rich Eisen, he always has Buffalo’s back)

boo hoo. You could bail on all of it ya know. Just watch the games.

Newsflash: the Chiefs are the standard bearers right now - they’ve won back to back titles. All NFL teams, especially AFC contending teams like the Bills, will be compared to them. If you just can’t handle that without whinging about it maybe football’s not for you.

if in-depth Bills-only coverage attracted enough eyeballs to make money for national NFL media outlets, guess what? You’d be seeing it. Seriously what are we even doing here anymore. Just manbaby central.

    Great article.
“Many dog advocates argue that there is no such thing as a bad breed, only a bad owner. Still, it can be helpful to understand which breeds of dogs are most commonly involved in bite incidents or acts of aggression. Dog attacks by breed statistics are invaluable both for individuals looking for a dog to adopt as well as for those who interact with animals who want to minimize risk.”

“Pit bulls are both more likely to be involved in bite incidents and more likely to cause serious injury or death when a bite does occur. In fact, from 1979 to 1998, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention determined pit bulls were involved in the most fatal dog attacks, accounting for 28% deaths due to dog bites during that same time period.⁷”

The “responsible” pit owners in this thread and around the country really won’t be persuaded by the mountains of evidence that these dogs are dangerous and potentially deadly. And that’s due to two things - ignorance and arrogance. The fact that some owners believe that any amount of correct training and acclimation can drive out all instincts that have been bred into certain breeds of dogs over generations and generations is frankly laughable and childishly naive.

With owning my own business, and the weekends being the busiest days of the week for me, buying season tickets was never going to be something that I could consider doing.  I always try to sneak in at least 1 live game a season, but time just really doesn't allow me to do anything but watch on TV for the most part.  So, in regards to the new stadium, I try not having too many criticisms about it because, while I would love to be there every week, I know this is a venue I won't be able to spend much time at.  That said....do I have some things I wish were different, of course.  Not having a venue that can be used year round for major events besides football doesn't make a lot of sense to me.  But, then again, it was never going to be up to us.  They were always going to build the stadium they wanted to build at the cost they deemed appropriate.

But does that have to mean it's going to be bad or inferior to other new stadiums being built?  Absolutely not.  I am sure we won't have all the bells and whistles of a So-Fi Stadium or whatever, but does that make it worse?  I don't think it does at all.  I honestly believe that they put their best effort into this design and it will probably blow people away......even the people that are doing nothing but complaining about it before even seeing it for the first time.   Will it have everything everyone wants?  Of course not.....it doesn't have a roof, so some people just trash it because that was the main thing they were looking for.  God forbid they wait and see everything else it may offer besides that.  I wanted a roof too.  I just think it was the logical choice given the area and expecting it to be a venue with the potential to host just about every major event out there at any time of the year.  But they didn't go that way.  It is what it is.  Doesn't mean I am just going to just trash the rest of the stadium before ever stepping foot inside of it.

The Bills will be here for the rest of my life.  This stadium pretty much ensures that and that is the biggest amenity that this new stadium offers.  Everything else is gravy.  The thing is, I think that "everything else" is going to be so much better than most are even imagining.  Enjoy this process.  It really is a good thing even if it is not exactly what you personally had hopes for.

PS......  The Buffalo statues should be a lot bigger than 16 feet, though.  I see what they are trying to do, but at least one of them should be almost double that size.

well put. And of course nothing here was going to approach SoFi - it ended up costing almost $6B.

Appreciate you getting on just to be a smart a&@, Kirby.

Right or wrong, my premise was that Beane knows each player’s value, which positions have a potential surplus, cap implications, etc.

We have good, young linebackers on their rookie contracts.  And holes elsewhere.

It’s about managing scarce resources to field the best team.

This was merely a “what if”.

Bernard is the only one that has proven anything at all. Who are the others? Dorian? Hasn’t proven anything. Spector? Might be okay. Dodson’s a FA. You talk about holes and yet want to create another gaping one and fill it with 2 guys with 52 total tackles in the NFL between the two of them.

That’s it. So “good young LBs (plural)” is just completely false.

It really depends on the healing post surgery. If there are complications with surgery or something like that then it can take a long time to recover. I don’t think he’s had any complications.

Agree but I don’t think recovery complications would necessarily be publicized.

Not all broken legs are equal. He suffered a very serious one.

With the emergence of Bernard, Dodson, Williams and Spector; and considering other holes to fill and limited cap space, does it make any sense to consider seeking a high pick for Milano?

I love Milano’s playing style and impact, it’s just interesting to think about what he could fetch in a trade/shedding his cap hit, and using a high pick in a loaded draft.

you justify this “idea” in part by citing the money aspect, which you got completely wrong.

Ironic this applies to everything you’ve said in this thread.

I guess he could’ve just blown the local kid off or just made up some lie to make some of you grown adults feel better.

I’m not gonna lose sleep over it, but that’s a pretty tone deaf comment from Hamlin. Kinda disappointed. He should not be saying that out loud. Buffalo bled for this guy last year and to say it’s a “dream” to play somewhere else?  Yeesh.

Also…we can’t be two faced here (but we will).  DIGGS says anything outside of “I want to be in Buffalo forever, this place is better than utopia”…if he even HINTS one day he will be somewhere else…and people lose their minds.   But Hamlin outright says he wants to play somewhere else and it’s “no big deal” and “understandable?” Can’t have it both ways, folks.

lol. How exactly did we all “bleed” for him?
