Everything went wrong for us, and they won by 2 at their place. I’m not predicting it, but if healthy I would not be shocked if we beat them by 30+ at our place.

I agree, and despite it all, we should have beat them yesterday. The Dolphins know that they escaped with a win.

all this talk about how great the Miami D was——-the d that gave up 497 and 31 first downs. The Miami d had a couple nice stops. I give them credit for those.  The Miami defenders played the ball very well when it arrived in the receivers hands.  They knocked several important passes out of their hands.

Lots of things contributed to the loss.  We had limited personnel which led to our players running out of gas due to the heat.  Bass missed a FG.  Dorsey decided it was a good idea to run Zack Moss back to back times which led to a sack fumble.  Josh missed an open Mckenzie (due to exhaustion imo).

Miami played a very physical game and got away with everything.  Good for them.  I like the attitude they played with….but the refs let them do w/e they wanted out there, while penalizing is for some nonsense.

Despite all of the nonsense, the Bills could have won. This was no blowout on the Dolphins part. We will meet again. We'll see.

I think we have enough depth at LB with Dodson Bernard and Spector

that we should try some 4-3 overloaded blitz looks with Tremaine next to Von.

Edmunds really needs to make impact plays and this would give him more opportunities

he’s looked good in my opinion when used as a blitzer up the middle

This has been discussed a hundred times the last three years!

As he should. The offense is completely different when he makes it a point to run. For the most part they played their best offense in December and January, when Josh was running more often.

He just needs to slide or get out of bounds as much as possible(Unless it's a play we absolutely need or the playoffs). Love his heart and competitive drive. Been watching the football & the Bills for over 40 years and he's easily my favorite player of all time.

I never doubted Allen from day.  Made a big leap!

No they're not, it's still going to he a pass first offense. That's why I think Cook is the last piece to the puzzle for the offense. He's got speed and runs routes like a WR. He's going to create mismatches and make defenses pay when they try to cover him with a LBer.

Josh will still run! He can't help himself...in his DNA!

This talk about Crowder getting cut seems crazy to me. He's a good player. If he gets cut, that means they struck gold with their 5th rounder, which would be awesome, but very slim chance. Don't know why anyone would get their hopes up for that.

Crowder is no joke. He has proven himself on some crappy teams. He moves the chains...cannot wait to see him with Allen!

In my eyes, the third round is where you take that homerun swing. You don't make the "safe" pick here. You look for the guy that has those intangibles that most people at his position do not have. Bernard is that homerun pick, his intangibles are speed, leadership, instincts and plays bigger than he is.
Speed: McD and Beane both have said they need to get faster, for the linebacker position this guy is fast at a 4.59 40, he uses that speed both down hill at blitzing and sideline to sideline in coverage. He makes good tackles and does not get beat in coverage.

Leadership: you hear from every coach and player at baylor that is interviewed that Bernard is that guy they will go to war for. He is intelligent and has that "it" factor

Instincts: there are 2 highlights of him that sell this for me, him blowing up the WR screen, he is there as the ball is arriving from the WIL LB spot, next is the interception where he covers the Hook route in the middle and then breaks on the ball for the INT. You can not teach these reactions

While he may look small he hits big.

Calling it now, the Cover WIL LB will be the new thing in the modern NFL, basically will be a big Safety that plays in the box.

Nice post. That about covers it...this is a great example of a hand picked draft pick! Bernard and Elam are my two favorite picks!
