Thats what I thought when the Bills faced the Giants in Tampa in SB25. They play that game 9 more times and it ends in a Bills blow out, but of course everything went sideways in that game including that last kick.
The Giants literally executed the only game plan that could have beat the Bills, and it needed to be executed perfectly. Lightning in a bottle for them.

A field flipper is what the Bills team needs. Once they cross the 50, they are either going for it or letting Bass swing his big one. A high hang time short distance Roby isn’t needed on this team.

My adjusted draft philosophy:
BPA and Trading Back are for rebuilds. For loaded contenders (like the Bills), spend as many later round draft picks required to move up and get three guys to fill out our team. Camp fodder, competition, whatever…they can all be found on the waver wire just as easily as in the later rounds (probably better players, too).

In the NBA, one “Superstar” is more able to make a huge impact on the game, so tanking would be worth it. However, in the NFL, a Superstar will only play in one direction while sitting the other way, and other than the QB, may not even touch the ball on a drive. Less of an impact. As for the QB, the learning curve is so steep and there are no guarantees (Mayfield, Darnold we’re taken before Josh, and many thought Rosen was going to be better). Just look at Lawrence. He was graded so freaking high and has won everywhere, but he will continue to look below average to hot garbage for another year.

This really sucks. Henry is a true bruiser of a running back - big, strong, crazy fast.
If this injury does take him out for the rest of the season, it becomes one more case study on why the NFL is devaluing the running game. One person (other than QB) going out should not derail an entire team.

I remember watching him Fall 2001 and thinking that he was going to be on the Bills in 2002 because Bledsoe was New England, and Brady was a late round backup who was doing okay enough.
I was a little backwards on that take.
