I agree with this, I just think his projected role is slot, with flex outside at the next level. But that's exactly what Shakir and Samuel do. It'd be an interesting rotation for sure. Imagine the pre snap motions! I do however believe we need a true "x" ,and servicable blocker to contribute consistently as well

It would be interesting to see. Honestly, if they’d have resigned Gabe I could see Shakir sliding into Diggs old role, and McConkey taking up that old Beasley roll in last years offense.

I’m not exactly sure how Brady is going to change things moving forward though, so it’s going to be guess as to how they see each of these players fitting into the offense.

Jerry Rice would be the GOAT today, just like he was previously. 4.71 40 time and all. He was unguardable. He would beat these guys just like a drum in the same way he did everyone in the 80's, 90's, and the early 2000's. He was still cooking DB's even at 40 years old.

Nacua's time of 4.57 was one of the factors that helped push him down draft boards. Then he goes on to log one of the fastest in game speeds of the season.

The Underwear Olympics aren't for everybody, nor does everyone who shines in them excel on the field.

Different era for Rice without the combine specific training, and despite the google 4.71 40 time everyone likes to quote Walsh said he clocked in at 4.59 and Brant had his lowest at 4.55. What’s more notable though is definitely Walsh stating that Rice could move as fast sideways as forwards…. It’s that fluid change of direction without losing speed that really made him unstoppable. Rice could just be in the same place on the stem at the same time every time.

Great, let's see how Brady does.

Again, the point is that I'm not sure we need Allen to do that when his skillset doesn't match that directly.

I think he needs to do just enough of it to open the intermediate and deep stuff. At the very least the running game needs to force teams out of those two high defensive shells.

No. Dodson is a free agent, Spector is a backup and I don't know we have seen enough from Williams yet to say he can definitely play. I'm actually looking forward to a year of Bernard and Milano. That feels like a playmaking combo to me.

For sure. They looked to be becoming a wrecking crew before Milano went down. Now that Bernard has a full year under his belt… I want to see the damage they can do to opposing offenses. Hopefully Beane can take care of DT well, so the two can stay clean and play fast next season.

  5. Remember though… Cook is a RB. Just like Aaron Jones and Kamara he’s gonna drop some passes that make you 🤦‍♂️. He’d be a receiver - like Deebo Samuel - if he had better hands. The threat of Cook scorching a defense is a large part of his value to the offense…. On any given play that kid can break off a huge gain.

IDK what the answer is for a hammer to go along with Cook. It could come from the draft. Could be an AJ Dillon in FA. 🤷‍♂️. I was all for Montgomery last offseason. I’m sure Beane will find someone though.

100% missed call.   Add another log on the refs are horrible fire!

But to say that play definitively impacted the ultimate outcome is a very long stretch.

Also who in their right mind thinks the NFL wants anything but large market teams to advance?   Hhaha

Spitballing…. but…. I suppose they could want an AFC counterpart to Green Bay. Small market, rabid regional fan base, top 5 QB that has some Favre in him. It’s even better for them because Pegula is legit wealthy, and doesn’t have to disclose financials like a public company. Bills are also that wedge into the Canadian market.  There are a lot of fans in SW Ontario, and they want that viewership.

Rookie mistake. I see a lot of newbies do this in a new relationship. Jewelry, vacations, expensive electronics. Then how are you going to match or top that every year 5, 10, 15 years later? You need to keep expectations in check. It's not a track meet, it's a marathon. Pace yourself

    Year 1 = Applebee's gift card

Facts. You start with jewelry, then you’ll be in a Lexus commercial on your tenth Christmas. 😂

I will stand by BBQ wings. I don't quite know how every place does it, but a wing finished with some bbq sauce and smoke can be a thing of beauty.

The hunt for good wings outside of WNY is real

Best BBQ wings I’ve ever had were jumbos smoked with hickory and cherry at 270° until an internal temp of about 145°, pulled, patted dry, fried hot and fast to crisp the skin and finish cooking, tossed in sauce that was kept warm in the smoker, and then the wings were returned to the smoker till the sauce tacked up. Sauce was a Piedmont style sweetened with Cheerwine.

It’s impossible to smoke a good brisket your first time.  Takes a ton of practice to get the feel of it.  it varies by pit but, at least an hour per pound is what mine takes.

By far the best method I have found is the foil boat.

One key is the collect all your fat trimmings and smoke them in a separate pan.  When you wrap it the boat, pour the melted fat all over the brisket and let it soak.

It’s certainly possible, and a lot easier with modern probe technology. Great brisket isn’t gonna happen, but a good brisket can unless the OP is gonna open the smoker obsessively or is trying to do a full brisket on a Weber in a WNY December. I’m sure they’re not trying to pull off 4-6 full briskets on a hog pit.

Easiest way is probably to just separate the flat from the point. Smoke the point. Then pull it, rest it, reset the smoker, and do the burnt ends.

Exactly how I feel. One of the things I was so excited for in training camp was the idea of "Man, if Dorsey can show any sign of creativity we can have one of the most flexible offenses in the league."

I expect that we will see effectively 11 coverage with Kincaid put into the slot. You can run unbalanced line formations. You can put Kincaid into the backfield and motion him as a H-back. Kincaid was even used in jet sweeps in college. You can motion Kincaid at the line to diagnose the coverage and be a blind while passing to Knox.

Versus Dorsey where we would go with 1 TE on each side and QB draw out of shotgun

This^^^. Dorsey displayed very little creativity with 12 personnel, especially with regards to the run game. Even Daboll ran a jet sweep or two off Knox in motion. I expect to see more innovative 12 personnel usage, even if it’s restricted to specials. It’s likely though that we’ll see some type of motion that puts a screen, swing or wheel route behind Knox and Kincaid. Brady’s proven that he’s better than Dorsey at utilizing personnel groupings to create mismatches.

Also, Knox coming back is going to take some of those lineman eligible snaps, and not just Kincaid/Shakir/Morris snaps. Brady has also shown that he can compensate for Spencer Brown without keeping a TE in formation which should keep the offense humming.
